Uthoff is a darn fine player. There is no debating it. I'd take Niang all day everyday but I'm a little biased.

Ha....give me Georges.

Uthoff isn't as clutch either. He had a chance to beat us in Ames after Monte hits the dagger and he missed.

Georges and it isn't even close. Georges has been doing his thing successfully for 4 years and nobody has figured out how to stop it. Uthoff was decent last year and very good this year.

One player's jersey will hang from a rafter someday. The other will likely get spot work as a stunt double for the actor playing Skeletor when Michael Bay remakes He-Man Masters of the Universe in five years.

Give me the guy that's won more than one tournament game and against someone other than Davidson in his career.

I love the part that Iowa is the better team, funny too bad we don't have a head to head matchup to determine that. I would play them any day and anywhere.

That's a really tough call actually. As much as I love Georges I think I'd probably go with Uthoff.

Niang by far. Uthoff is a great player and 3 point shooter........but keep a little pressure on him and a hand in his face he will miss 80% of his 3's . See second half ISU game........however several teams (too late) like MSU showed a little pressure on Uthoff shuts him down.

They're talking about just this year and have already said Georges has the better career.

He's admittedly a Hawkeye fan too. I think it was last year when he ranked the top 10 basketball courts in the country and had Indiana at #1 and threw Iowa in at #10

I guess that was already stated.

Uthoff is good and has nice teeth - but there have games where he just disappears in the 2nd half (our game ring a bell?). Niang takes over in the 2nd half and that's when the best players show their true colors. The question is always - who do you want to have the ball with 15 seconds left? That answer is Niang every day and twice on Sunday.

Blasphemy!

Give me Georges every day of the week. We have been so lucky to have Georges Niang wear the Cardinal and Gold for 4 years. What a player.

Sure, Uthoff is likely more "draftable" and more likely to have an NBA career than Georges, but I'd take Georges Niang on my team any day.
