I'm cheering for KU. I hate the brand of basketball WV plays and dont want to see them win the Big 12. Plus if ISU isn't the one to knock off KU then I don't want anyone else to.

I'm kind of on board with this, but I really wouldn't mind Oklahoma taking it. It's not football, after all.

OU is in the driver's seat for the conference crown, because KU wins at Allen. they just do.
Have you watched OU play their last two games? The shine of invincibility is officially off OU now. Last night vs. Texas was their worst shooting performance of the season on the heels of a bad loss @KSU. Teams are getting them scouted better now and playing them much tougher.

I saw them fight off an inspired Texas team. Others might not have weathered that particular storm. They held court, and won at home. I don't see WVU holding on the same way, and KU is behind in the standings right now.

Well, they are still 1 game ahead of KU and play you guys at home on Saturday. You think KU is red hot after their big win at TCU or something?

Since ISU's chances of a conference championship are virtually nil:

Let's Go Mountaineers (and yes, that chant is as annoying as KAAAAAA U)

This exactly. That Texas team is starting to look a little too good for my liking but what's new in this conference.

I don't think they are invincible but they are definitely the best team in the league

@KU, I expect a lot of fouls called on WVU and a lot of free throws made by KU. Refs wont let this be close.

My opinions of OU are independent of my opinions of any other Big 12 team. OU looked pretty vulnerable against a Texas team that has their own issues. One of the best defenses OU had was to simply let Isaiah Taylor think he was open for a jumper. I feel a lot more confident in KU's game @OU than I did two weeks ago is all. Still gotta survive the assault and battery that is West Virginia tonight. Hopefully KU can play with some defensive energy from the jump.

We'll see.

This is why everyone hates Kansas and Kansas fans. Seriously....you've done nothing in the last few weeks. You've beat average to bad teams. You beat Kentucky in OT who then managed to lose to TN.

You might beat Oklahoma, but nothing you've done so far this season makes anyone think that you are the favorite to do that.

As far as tonight, it's a lose/lose situation for me. But I won't be sad if Kansas loses.

If WVU wins tonight, there is little chance they dont win the conference, IMO. Ill be pulling for KU for two reasons...

1. It helps ISU in the title race (albeit a slim chance at a title)
2. I want ISU to be the team who wins in Lawrence and breaks their current streak.

If the officials had the guts to call a WVU game the way it should be called, WVU would have 35 fouls every game and their opponents would have 15-20.

Tonight they play at AFH where Kansas gets all of the calls.

My prediction... Kansas blows WVU out of the gym and Huggins gets tossed for screaming at the officials because the foul count isn't "fair".

KU+3 by 8. If any team can win there this year, though, it's WV. They're relentless, and theyre going to force the +3 to make some calls they probably were paid not to make.

I personally will be cheering for anybody but KU to win the B12.

It's embarrassing to have KU pull off a John Wooden type consecutive championship run and argue the B12 is a premier conference. It's worse when only (1) team in last 8-9 years has gotten to Final4. "

KU must be destroyed"

Oklahoma winning last night was big. It's either them or West Virginia at this point that has the best shot to do it. If WV wins tonight, it would be huge.

I could see KU coming out flat and Ellis picking up two quick fouls and sitting on the bench early. WVU won't take advantage of it and only lead by around 5 at half.

Second half starts, KU goes on a tear and gets up by 15. WVU turns up the pressure. Once Mason gets rattled, he tries to force things and starts turning the ball over. WVU pulls even and maybe even goes ahead. Back and forth for the last five minutes.

Then, trailing by one with 40 seconds left, Paige goes in for a go-ahead basket, gets mugged, no foul is called, Huggy goes bonkers and actually has both feet leave the floor at the same time (2-3 inch vertical max). Paige goes for the ball trying to get it back and fouls Selden. Blah blah blah, 5 free throws later, KU wins by 6.

Then tomorrow, people complain about how KU gets all the calls and KU fans repeatedly tells everyone that WVU had plenty of chances to win the game. Posters that today are saying they want KU to win come to realize that they made a mistake and will never ever hope KU wins another game.

Their defense didn't seem to be the problem in Morgantown. They just played way too fast and lost their composure for stretches (leading to easy buckets on the other end).

The accuracy in this post is just mind boggling.
