Jake needs to take Paul's Hard hat off and realize a storm of mediocrity would be a huge step up for this program.

its his dad. Not sure why anyone would expect sny different or why everyone wouldn't ignore it.

I would like OL and DL to stay.
So Tucker, Campos, J. Thomas at DE. Who else is so good we can't replace? I would like Curtis to stay as I think he will blossom into a nice RT. But right now he is a depth guy. There is no one else really that stands out. Please name some names...

I'm not sure how I feel about this...

All I know is that losing Thomas is a BIG loss. There goes your number 2 running back, to be replaced probably by a freshman.

Not that big. We lost Tyler Brown, Thomas stepped up. I'm sure someone else will step up. All they need is someone decent for a few carries per game. Thomas was basically just a goal line back because he was big.

who knows? But it is not surprising and understandable that jake rhoads would not love the new staff and would probably not hate it if others did not like them as well. Best to ignore him.
Exactly. It's pretty easy for him to sit there on social media and hate on something he and his family are no longer part of.

Help me here, I don't even know what he's saying?

This. What bonehead stuff is he referring too? The football program was a total cluster**** at the end of CPR's era, so I am struggling to imagine what kind of boneheaded stuff wasn't going on.

I hate these ****s that would rather sabotage the program they were or are a part of then go along and try and win football games for a great university and an uber loyal fan base.

Is Jake R. a part of the team still? He is not listed on the roster and his little bro still is, so i am guessing not. If his little bro is still on the team then Jake boy should STFU on retweeting negative stuff about ISU..

I trust Campbell's vision for the longevity of this program. Some on this roster may not, but it isn't like we're running off a big 12 championship roster. 2016 is less important than figuring out who's committed to sustained success.

I dont think andrew is a big fan of the whole #AStormisBrewing and all the "cool" stuff the new staff is doing.

Andrew is entitled to his opinion and if he thinks thats dumb, thats fine, but this new staff just reeled in the 44th best class in the country. The best ISU has ever had. So while Andrew and Jake may think the tweets and videos are dumb, you can't really deny the results they're producing.

IDK who Andrew Smith is, but Indian Outlaw (person who RT'd it) is Jake Rhoads. Paul Rhoads son.

I realize a RT isnt an endorsement but I found this interesting considering I've heard from a good source close to the program that there is a group of probably 12-15 guys on the team that share this same sentiment as Andrew Smiths tweet.

What is he even referring to? Bonehead stuff? The old staff made a living doing bonehead stuff.

I see from this thread that some people are still under the illusion that this program doesn't need a complete overhaul and rebuild and actually believe CPR when he says this years team is a bowl team. Lol. Delusion was strong in the last staff and it trickled down to the fanbase.

I feel like I let you guys down... I was just going to start a thread before this came out.

Heard through come people close to football players that about 20ish players have left or are leaving the program. TWENTY. Reasons why: Campbell to business like and staff about winning, not family oriented like CPR, coaches spending time on young guys and new recruits has been taken wrong way by older players, etc.

I fear these two are the first of many....

You can be a family man and run a good business at the same time.

I have no idea who Andrew is nor is he relevant to this program. And to Jake Rhoads, his dad put this program into the depths of Jim Walden, but I guess losing became fun for some players. As was stated last year, this team doesnt know how to win, some of the comments are reinterating this.

So what im seeing from your posts, using the same logic as you, is CMC should cut schollys of every player he didn't bring in himself and start 100% over.

What some of us are saying is that we can't get rid of everyone, so we hope we keep some quality players to make next year work.

Oh, boneheaded stuff like promoting the program. Got it. Well, the notion that that is "boneheaded" is why the previous staff failed.

Thank god Paul is gone. Funny how Campbell and his MAC staff has pulled in a better class than Paul and is staff ever did in just 2 months.
