Thought Nevada had a district final with a fellow conference opponent in PCM but score was reversed this morning and Nevada plays an unknown in Chariton. Chariton is 11-12 overall but won both district games on the road. Game is at a neutral location in Saydel.

I love my dog, but she's coprophagic and I don't let her anywhere near me after she does that.:shocked:

Well, I learned a new word today that I really didn't need to know.

On a completely unrelated note I had to look up Anna Kendrick. I don't see it.

Along with Fat Amy being awesome. Anna Kendrick is the main reason to watch either of the Pitch Perfect movies.

Finally got an update on a couple federal jobs I applied to 4 months ago...saying that they had passed my information to the hiring manager. :skeptical:
Especially if you applied through USAjobs.gov, the updates can be very slow.

Dudes, Congress didn't pass a fiscal year 2016 appropriation bill till just before Christmas so agencies were unsure of their appropriations and likely had to sit on hiring until they actually got their office budget. 1/4 the way through the year before Congress quit ******* around. We just got word down regarding our final funds for the year in my agency.
We received ours on February 4th. Like Boxster said, it is not forbidden but is recommended that you don't hire anybody until you receive your full allotment.

Applying to any government position is ridiculously slow. It's always months before you hear back from them.
We did manage to hire somebody in less than 4 weeks from the initial date we advertised for a job recently. Of course, this was for a position that reports directly to a federal judge so that may have made a difference. The other five jobs we recently advertised for are not being filled that quickly.

Anna Kendrick is made better by her witty twitter.

I also had to google that word, and I'm thankful my dog has no interest, but I know other dogs that do. Gross.

Is Anna Kendrick the most beautiful person on the planet right now??

Top 5 for sure

Absolutely not. I mean, she's hot and all, but she wouldn't even be in my top 100. She's too... mouse-like for me.
She's pretty good looking but what's so attractive about her is how likable she is. I can't believe I'm saying that about somebody that played a somewhat prominent role in the Twilight movies.

Decided to skip my usual shortcut through the the Union Depot from the parking lot this morning. Not sure walking through was even an option. As I walked up to the depot there was a van unloading but it wasn't the usual Somali driven taxi dumping people off for the trains and buses. It was a load of guys in army desert camo and unpacking big black cases of weapons. V.P. Biden is making a speech thingy there this afternoon.

I miss skipping school all day to go to State Wrestling. We almost never had a wrestler from my school make it so it was a lot of watching random matches.

I, of course, was never good enough to make it. I got 3rd at districts my Junior year though. I was injured my Senior year.

person A has been running this program for five? months now and they are still ******* up the easy things. I put in a big damn hint last month when I said to the whole team that I would be making a checklist of things to check each time after some easy stuff (not really my fault) was again missed. And that we should do the same for other portions of the program. This month I stuck in another reminder saying "remember to run x before y" even though it's totally not my responsibility. But Person A messed that up twice in a row so I reminded. Now I just overheard that they messed up something else for probably the third time - they've done it wrong so many times that even I know not to do it and I don't even have access to what they are talking about.
Person B pointing this out to them is like MAKE A GODDAMN LIST AND CHECK **** OFF (more diplomatically than that).

The best part? Person B ran this program for a total of three times last summer while my boss was out. They've run it fewer times than person messing it up and THEY are the ones telling them what they are doing wrong. Because there are directions, and they followed them last summer so they get out it works. IDK what Person A is doing.

and now trying to make an email on another issue sound more diplomatic. I'm throwing so many hard dodgeballs tonight.
