yeah, these guys haven't played defense since Fred took over. Prohm had no time to recruit because hoiberg turned away recruits and then jumped ship when it was to late. He is failing at the Bulls. Another of his teams that doesn't play D.
Cooke was in against the same guards we faced all game. He doesn't have the handles and that was obvious.
I agree with some of this. There's been games where the refs weren't bad though and the same thing as tonight happened. I'm not expecting ISU to hold teams in the 70's. Thought the zone was a stupid choice due to WVU being a great rebounding team. They have capable shooters on their team, guess that's why I'm not the coach, just didn't get the defensive strategy tonight.

Carter clearly isnt ready. Ashton is a good walkon but him and cooke would have gotten destroyed. Not bashing either of them.
West Virginia dared the refs to call fouls and they did, on us. Absolutely dictated how that game went down. WV falls in the tourney because they will never get away with a mugging like that. practically no fouls called in the first half and then in the bonus and double bonus before us. Ridiculous.
This team returned more than any team Fred ever had. And has already matched the most losses fred had not counting the first year. And we still have to play at kansas.
What exactly do you think goes on during the days they aren't on TV? I have a feeling Prohm notices it when our subs get absolutely destroyed by our starters every day in practice.
not if you count the transfers Fred brought in each year...each year except for the last.
They wouldn't get destroyed. Please. Besides, how is it any worse than our drained starters getting destroyed on those all too familiar 12-2.....15-4 runs every team goes on every single freaking game?
