Yes watching. Tired of the racist stuff, but I am a big movie fan so I watch every year. Ellen was the best host two years ago.

I have watched 6 of the 8 Best Picture nominees. I haven't seen The Revenant or Brooklyn yet. All of the rest of them that I saw were really good. One of the best years for movies in a long time.

It's funny watching all the limousine liberals laugh uproariously at the race jokes in an attempt to act like everyone but them in Hollywood is racist.

Which is what makes Chris Rock's quip on them even more hilarious.

"You're damn right Hollywood is racist... Hollywood is sorority racist. 'We like you Rhonda, but you're not a Kappa.'"

I also try and watch all of the movies before and after the show. I have found some hidden gems in movies I would have never watched. I still don't understand how bird man won last year. It seemed to me if the critics would have said it was bad it would have snowballed into the movie getting trashed by everyone. I hope Leo wins this year he is an excellent actor that has been screwed in the past. I don't understand how mad max is up for best film.

The real "elephant" in the room is that Hollywood had been run by liberals for 100 years, and has formed horrible stereotypes of native Americans, Hispanics , blacks, and Asians - especially for the first 80 yrs of existence

the irony. Lol. Spike Lee the only one in recent past to point that out.

I thought Birdman was the worst movie out of all of the ones nominated last year. Selma was my favorite. I though Mad Max was very good, but I do agree with you. I would have put Inside Out or Star Wars ahead of it.

I have seen every Best Picture nominee since 2011 except for Lincoln and the two I haven't watched yet this year. I am planning to watch every nominee from all 88 years eventually.* There have been 528 movies nominated. I have watched 281 so far.

*Right now The Patriot from 1928 is a lost film. So unless there is a copy discovered somewhere, I will have to go without watching it. It is the only Best Picture nominee lost.

Lincoln is a fantastic movie.
