Baylor lost Medford, Prince, Gaithers, and one more..TX lost Ibeh, holland, Ridley, Felix, ( and probably more), not sure either of those teams are any better off than us....
Roach and Eric Davis will be another year older and very good. Plus Texas has a very good class coming in. Baylor you are right. I probably put them too high.

Not to discredit Niang at all, but this has a lot of the same feeling as when Fizer left. There's still the ingredients to have a pretty darn good team. It'll be guard oriented for sure, but that's what Prohm had at Murray State as well so we know that he can coach it.
We all know how that team ended the season.

My ideal lineup:

1. Monte Morris
2. Naz Mitrou-Long
3. Matt Thomas
4. Emmanuel Malou
5. A Physical, 6-9+ grad transfer

Plus these 3 off the bench:
6. Deonte Burton
7. Darrell Bowie
8. Donovan Jackson

And then have a couple of these guys be able to help as well
Solomon Young, Jakolby Long, Nick Weiler-Babb, Hallice Cooke.

My wild cards: (Guys I think could help if they improve or someone like Lard/Dembele if ISU lands them) Brady Ernst, Simeon Carter, Jordan Ashton, Cameron Lard, Cheickna Dembele

Yes, I realize that would be way over the scholarship limit. I'm just not going to speculate on who will be here so I'm going to list everybody that could help if they are here.

the entire team's defense was horrible all year.

Fixed it for you....but.....

Considering how bad it was, it is amazing how close this team was to winning most of their games. Small defensive improvements could make a lot of difference. Also...transition is big for this team, but we need to learn to value possessions a little more.

I agree with this. CSP is a guard orientated coach. I think his issues at the beginnings had to be with adjusting to coaching a forward focus teams.

I think next year we will be around the same record and have a deeper bench. I can really see the 3 senior guards really lighting it up. I think we will be a great 3 point shooting teams that has a better defense. We could kinda be a poor mans Nova(minus the press)

Monte wants to play in the NBA, to do so I think he Improves his shooting skills and is much more offensive minded next year. While we lose Georges, McKay was a liability on offense his man just wound up guarding the basket. Half the time when Nader drove Mckay's man would set up and take a charge. Next year we should be able to spread the court more. Losing Georges is obviously huge but we might have more options and be better able to take advantage of match-ups. Defensively we should be better because what we do will not be new to everyone, hopefully we make the NCAAs again and Naz Long becomes the player with most wins in cyclone history.
