It depends on Morris and Malou. If Morris comes back and malou is good as advertised then they will be a top 20 team maybe better

I'm really hoping the voters give them a little credit for their streak, and past success, and at least start them in the top 25. If they drop a few early ones, then fall out, so be it, but I'd like to give them the chance to continue their streak.

Usually I'd call this kinda insignificant, in terms of overall team goals, but when it's traditionally only blue bloods on this streak, then it's something worth bragging about.

Doesn't next year's team kind of have the feel like 00-01 year after we made the elite 8 and lost to Michigan St. We returned a decent core, but had way more depth coming in.... In the season actually out performed the 99-00 team.... If we get a step up from Bowie, Young, Malou, Ernst, or Carter.... This team could be really solid.... And surprise a lot of people...

The 2000 team had the better conference mark, though, going 14-2, compared to the following year when we went 13-3.

We swept Kansas both years, quite a feat when you consider how few home losses the Jayhawks have had. The '01 Kansas team was quite a bit better than their team the year before, so our '01 Clone team deserves credit for sweeping an even better Jayhawk squad.

I'd like to give the voters credit in thinking they actually look at the team's closely before voting, but I don't believe they do.
