That new training facility in the North Endzone is impressive, and the revenue from the west side suites is a great source of income. People ripping K-State's stadium are focusing on all the wrong facets of a successful facility improvement.

Also, college sports is no longer about bigger stadiums, its about better stadiums. With ticket prices going up, and more fans deciding to stay home; quality of fan experience, over quantity of fans, is now the priority.

Looks good, purple Kansas. Really dig the limestone. I'd love to knock down Jacobson and fully enclose our stadium.

I would say the press box is probably the next, and final piece of the stadium. I doubt we ever need the capacity that enclosing the North End Zone would provide.

Cyclone fans pack the stadium every year for an often less-than-mediocre product. Imagine if we strung together a couple 8-10 win seasons.

I agree an updated press box should come next, though.

Meh. I like the uniqueness the Jacobson Building brings. Knock it down and fill in the end zone and JTS suddenly looks like 95% of the stadiums out there.

Man these K State fans keep shoveling money into a stadium that will be empty in 2 years when the next coach learns how impossibly talented and lucky Bill Snyder was. K State will return to ISU / KU ranks very soon and we shall see how their fans react.

Also, who the heck is doing those renderings, they are terrible. Apparently there is no guardrail between the fans and the field.

Brent Venables will do just fine following the Wizard at K-State. And I've noticed lucky people are generally highly skilled in their profession.

The architect is Populous, which many consider the best in its field.

Is Bill Snyder the reason everyone embraces "K-State"? Everywhere down there it's written as K-State. Been that way as long as I can remember (mid-90's). No one ever says Kansas State.

Actually, Bill prefers Kansas State. John Currie brought back the traditional "K-State" for branding purposes. On former Kansas State basketball uniforms too often came this look. Mitch Richmond and Steve Henson went to K-State not Ku.
