Then the game is on FS1 or an ESPN channel. It's Texas, this game didn't not get chosen by a network, both teams agreed and because of the TV contract and it's allowing two tier 3 games for Texas (and by ISU agreeing to it), it was not available to networks when they choose their games 13 days ago. What happens if ISU doesn't agree then?
...if you pay for it. We pay 122/month already and don't get LHN. Beyond ridiculous.677 on direct tv

Agree 100% on that. I get why JP is doing it, but as someone who lives out of Iowa, it's annoying the ONLY way I can watch this is by listening to Texas homers call the game, especially when I pay for an annual membership to Cy TV. As I have said before, this game should be available to those out of Iowa who have an annual membership to Cy TV.Thank you for the explanation. I understand what you are saying now.
Based on what you have said, it makes no sense at all to agree to play the game on LHN.
No idea if this would work but if you have someone in Iowa that could sign up for cy.tv for a day for you and give you the password. Then you could login and watch it out of state.Agree 100% on that. Going to guess it tracks based off the IP the game is being watched from, not the IP you sign up from.No idea if this would work but if you have someone in Iowa that could sign up for cy.tv for a day for you and give you the password. Then you could login and watch it out of state.

When I checked the schedule and clicked on "verify your access" on WatchESPN for the ISU @ Texas game, it redirects to a DirecTV login. The other ESPN games, when I do the same, ask for a cable provider. Not feeling great about this one.
Weird, a few days ago another poster and I were able to watch LHN but it looks like ESPN got smart and blocked off the game. The ISU/UT game link has a padlock. Dangit..Tried the PlayStation route this morning. Won't let me play longhorn network.
That is weird.. It's like it will work for some people but not others. Maybe they set it up that you can't do the free trial to get LHN.. who knows..I have the trial but I am not seeing the Longhorn network on the Playstation Vue. Also, when I go on WatchESPN I get this message. Probably user error, can anybody help. Thanks.
