What bothered me is that we didn't give the quarterback that scored 5 touchdowns last week a chance to see if he could succeed in the red zone when it was clear that the other quarterback was not succeeding in the red zone. It is even more baffling when the backup actually scored a TD in the red zone but it was called back due to a bogus call.
My BS meter is definitely registering high on this situation. Campbell has so many nice things to say about Joel, but then after the game all he says is that that defense dictated that it would be bad to bring Joel in because they were packing the box. Well in my experience a running team loves that, because you break the first line and you're gone. Either way I'm somewhat sore for Joel after his lack of playing time Saturday.
