my teeth hurt. Not sure if whatever pills in my purse will do anything for sinus pain.

No, I'm not quite a drug dealer. Just keep a little baggie of headache type pills. DH said it does look kinda drug dealerish.

Not exactly sure.

Birth control does not help sinus pain, not positive but I'm guessing they don't.

Seriously, best to only carry one brand. I grabbed some pills once that had no markings on a guess of what they were. Wanted sinus pills but think they turned out to be sleeping pills. Not nice to find out 30 miles down the road.

it's all just different types of Excedrin + Bayer for mild headaches. They're pretty obviously different.

The bank branch in town that my company works with...rhymes with Bells Cargo...is incompetent. I've had at least three major things crop up in the past calendar year where corporate audit is calling me on it, but it was the bank branch that messed up. I feel like I'm the one that looks the fool. Not to mention receiving carbon copies of deposit slips for not our company. Most recent, I happened to still be at work when the courier brought back our change order, and he pulls out a change bag not labelled for us. I point it out to him, he sighs and says "Well, guess it's back to the bank."

Imbeciles. (The bank, not the courier)

I had one a couple weeks ago where someone did a reply all (that included multiple superiors to me) saying that I didn't give them information that gave them access to a certain file. Made me look kinda dumb. True, the original email I forgot to include it. That's what they replied to. However, the email I had send 3 minutes later said hey btw, here is the info for this, sorry for not including on original. This reply from them was coming in several days later. They clearly should have seen the 2nd email by then.

So I replied all and attach my second email detailing the exact info they needed and said if they had any trouble receiving or using that information to please let me know.

Boom. Now they look dumb.

E-mail victories are strangely satisfying.

I had a customer include superiors on both their end and mine calling me out on an issue. The problem was they replied using the very E-mail I sent him where the information was clearly displayed.

My boss highlighted it in the original E-mail, as well as doing cut-and-paste it into the body of his reply. Several E-mails later, I got to read a good eating-crow apology.

I accepted the apology with an exaggerated politeness. And yeah, I had my smug on the whole time.

Lew's retirement account got sold to their conglomerate a few years back, and they recently moved it to a 2020 plan and are imposing a blackout on changes beginning in 3 weeks. He doesn't WANT a conservative approach on that one. We spent an hour with our FA at TIAA-CREF yesterday, and we're moving all of his stuff (he has three separate retirement funds resulting from changing jobs) into a single account there for him. More flexibility, more control (if you want it) and easier access. Should have done it years ago, frankly.
