Bags, are you hiding the ring in her Moons Over My Hammy?
We were engaged on a trip to Mexico. I popped the question when we were out to dinner one night. We had a private balcony overlooking a small park. I ordered a seafood dish. It ended up being one of those dishes where the fish still had the eye. I figured that I better cover up that ugly little thing with my napkin before I got down on one knee.

I probably should never have typed anything about "ugly little thing"

Not exactly sure.

Most use socks or rolls of quarters, JC uses napkins. Whatever works for you.

Yeah, I don't quite know how to tell you this...but they're probably lying
Yeah your right the difference is ~$5,000 a year. But really living in Ames and going to DMACC is not that different than going to Iowa State. I'll be able to do everything an Iowa State student can do but live in the dorms and go to Iowa State classes... Plus I already have 6 DMACC credits

You're never gonna go to class. It's hard enough to get yourself to go class anyway as a freshman but add in having to drive 15 minutes to class will lead to a lot of skipping.

We always put up our XMas decorations on her birthday (which is actually tomorrow, but **** it), so I had a woman at work make me an ornament with "Marry Me?" on it. I'm gonna say that Fern (our new kitty) wanted to get her an ornament for her birthday and when she goes to check it out I will have the ring behind her.

That's the plan anyways. I'm sure I will fumble something up.

I'm genuinely glad you're furthering your education and have no desire to bag on DMACC, but you really need to stop trying to draw comparisons to being an ISU student. The opportunities for advancement and overall experience are very different. The people that are telling you otherwise did not take advantage of their ISU experience.

You'll be fine. Good luck and congrats.

It doesn't really matter because I'll be going to iowa state after 2 year of dmacc. But you need to realize with the ISU DMACC partnership program I'll basically have everything an ISU student would have.

I keep a baggie of aspirin and ibuprofen in my desk at work. After a while, the aspirin gets kind of ground up into a powdery substance. It looks great to have that in the courthouse.

I had one fall into the little cupholder thing in my car and do that. Got work done on car and they vacuumed things up. I definitely wondered what they thought about my little white powder in the console.

Did you have any rolled up dollar bills or compact mirrors near it?

I read "Mexico" and definitely read "popped" as something else.
