Chickens can lay eggs about every 1.25 - 1.4 days. I am guess that it is more akin to a poo, but then again their poo is runny and never hard, so who knows.

that was my thought, they do it about every day or so so it can be like giving birth. Did you have chicken George yet or was he gone by then? Good ole chicken day in lab.

I'd say it all depends on the size of the egg. Ostrich egg: birth to child. Chicken egg: nice number two.
