Really hoping someone will draft him, he's worked so hard and made such huge strides as an all around ball player its hard to imagine there are 60 more talented/deserving players eligible.
If someone drafted Nader, they could draft Burton.

Last season in Waco I took a signature ball w/ me that my daughter had gotten me for my birthday. I stood courtside before the game started and Deonte was the first to approach me. I said, "Thanks for being a Cyclone" when he finished signing it. He stopped like I'd just slapped him and he turned back to me and said, "Are you kidding me? Being a Cyclone is the greatest thing that's happened to me!" Love the kid! That letter he wrote is simply awesome. A deep run in the tourney would be icing on an already great cake!
Hey Deonte, you don't have to leave us. Stay here one more year and play for Coach Campbell!
Haha...yeah...good one...

100% true. He can play football for one year. His basketball eligibility is expired. Campbell asked him if he wanted to but Deonte said no thanks. ESPN reported this during a game over the last couple weeks. I can't remember which one exactly.Haha...yeah...good one...

He has been passing better. Also, those are awesome words, especially from a Hawkeye fan.Hope he goes into beast mode rest of the games. He is a game changer. Pass the ball if there are three people on you.
