Nah, maybe better fans though.

How would different assistants help this spring? Iowa St had visits, or scheduled visits, from some of the very best available players. They just didn't choose Iowa St, for whatever reason. You really think it was because of the assistant coaches?

I would be much more concerned if Iowa St was not recruiting any of these prospects, or if none were considering Iowa St.
I personally have not been sold on his staff. Are they still adjusting from Murray State. I guess I see so little of them that I do not know his staff exists. Too low key. My point is Prohm is very good, something else is happening with the staff.

Agree I get why we didnt pull in much the last two years because there really wasnt much for playing time which is something transfers want but this summer should have been very different with the amount of playing time we have to offer. Dont knock the effort the staff has given but we appear to need a closer for the transfer market (Prohm appears to do great with HS kids).

I'm sold on Berry and Small. Not exactly sure what Robinson brings to the table

Damn Milwaukee must have amazing hookers and the best blow to turn this recruit from the almighty Prohm and Iowa State. Marquette must be dirtier than CYSpokane underpants. Another lost recruit that Prohm talked to for so long. How could he choose another program?

I mean really Milwaukee over Ames? This makes no sense.

Small gets southerners and is a very good teacher of the game, from what I know.

Berry closes. Wiggi included.

We need that last guy to own the spring if we are ever going to be Transfer U again.

Marquette doesn't suck at the game of basketball like UNLV. Nice try

Not too worried, Marquette is a relevant program.

Having career lower level guys doesn't hurt prep recruiting, it may even help. But it's likely we lack some connections in transfer recruiting. Transfer recruiting is critical so it needs to be a strength of the staff.

If our ex coach LE and his C state team happen to take down UNLV again it might offer the perfect opportunity for some troll pay backs!

Nope. Milwaukee's cool and Marquette's a solid and clean program. I wouldn't want to play for that coach but I can't fault a kid too much for going there.

That doesn't surprise me.

Afterall who would be a fan of the coach that brought the program back to prominence and delivered 4 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and two Big 12 Tournament Championships. Not to mention an All-American as a player at your university. Yeah what a bust that guy was.

Come back when unlv gets into the dance until then go watch recordings from 2008 when your team last won a game in the tournament.

I didn't make the GIF. Don't blame me for the misspelling.

I'm a fan of ISU and a fan of Fred's accomplishments at ISU. Context mattters, though. When accused of having my views on this staff's spring recruiting struggles stem from being a "Fred fan", no I'm not a Fred fan.
