car thing is a sensor switch for the brake pedal. You have to push down the brake to start the car, it's intermittently sending the signal that it's being pushed. Can tell because the brake lights don't always come on when the pedal is pushed. Sounds like any auto parts store should have the piece and it's like $30 and easy to replace. So that's good.

Bubble Carvers is what I picture Rum Brooklyn being like 15-20 years from now.

Only problem is I am probably 30 years older. So either arrested development on my part or rapid aging by the rummy. She does cross stitch already.

The waiter brought my left shoe on a tray when things were closing down. I feel he had it the whole time and was messing with me.

But CG is essentially a 70 year old though, so it evens out.

In Kansas City. Older son said he really had to go to the bathroom, so we had to stop in a pretty shady part of town. Hope we make it out in one piece.

so my car wouldn't start after work Thursday night. Got it jumped, went to a work thing and it started up 3 hours later. Fine yesterday. Got in this morning and wouldn't start. Got back tonight and tried again, first time it wouldn't turn over, but did a series of clicks. Tried again and it started.

Battery is from last fall, lights all come on - is this probably something like the starter then?

Garh, we literally just took it in last week to get something fixed.

I would get the battery checked 1st. My folks had a car that something like that would happen turned out it was the battery.

Once again, you are lucky I am here. If you are in danger, respond to this thread. I am a long ways away from Kansas City, but I will call the authorities and give you some quick martial arts tips. Let me know if you don't make it out ok.

Holy cats got home and flipped on the TV tour de France was on some dude dumped his bike (45mph) into a ravine on the descent skidded across the road sans bike and broadsided another biker taking him out. The guy who led most the way down (Bardet) got aced out in the last 2 km came back to finish 4th.

Personal biking notes good 20 on Fri. Hard 20 on Sat. just seemed like it took forever just not much energy. Now to talk myself into going out later tonite.
