We're living it up. My wife made a reservation for one of the rooms, but since they were all booked up, they gave us a cabin. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, full kitchen, deck, etc.

Baby GTO and I just got back from the reception since it is almost his bedtime. Wife and oldest one stayed behind. Watching 15 minutes of Paw Patrol before bedtime.

Damn, should have used your place as a fishing base, brought down a Jungle Paw Patroller and some chips for strip poker.

You know it. We're watching that Paw Patrol episode where Chase goes full Training Day on some fools.

Damn straight. Don't mess with a German shepherd. Last time I babysat my great niece, when I showed up she was staring at some video loop of favorite episodes. Chase vs. Marshall, whose little GTO got? And will this Skye thing last?

Team Marshall. Not so up to date on Paw Patrol. Seem to watch more Peppa Pig than Paw Patrol. What are you drinking tonight, babe?

At a wedding where son is best man. Just guzzling champagne. Kind of ready to head home, but husband is DD for a lot of peeps. You pick up some Busch Lite in Iconium?

Kids next door into Peppa. Haven't watched it too much lately.

Maybe Bubbles Carvers equivalent of Rum Brooklyn? Feel I'm too old and too sober.

No Busch Lite. I had Fat Tire at the reception while it was free. All they had at the gas station were domestic beers and I ended up with some Coors Light for the "after party" at the cabin.

I like Bubbles Carver. She actually humors my advances. Sober Carvers just shoots me down.

Eh, I'm pretty much a tease either way. I took my shoes off around 8:30 and can only find one of them at the moment. Too old for heels ugh. Showed the waiter my double jointed toes, I'm sure he thought that was hot, he brought two bottles to our table after that.

This kid is in four weddings this year. That is a lot of tux money.

The bolded is pretty much a Rum Brooklyn type of story. Any other double jointed body parts? I would suggest your son invest in a tuxedo of his own.

At least I lost my shoe and not my bra. All of my fingers and toes are double jointed except for my big toes. I try not to show them off too often, don't want to accelerate arthritis or something. I pulled them out tonight cause was getting tired of getting up for a glass at a time, two bottles at the table is more convenient. Especially barefoot. Groom wanted to dance with me cause he spent a ton of his life in my basement (that sounds bad doesn't it?) so there will be some damn video somewhere of a barefoot double jointed toed old lady doing some funky cold medina with the groom.

My AC is on the fritz again. I noticed it seemed to be running longer and some really funky sounds when it did shut off. When down to check and it's froze up again. Turned it off and just turned the fan on to get it to thaw and try to dry out. I sure hope it isn't time to get a new AC but it is almost 20 years old. Sigh

Why does this stuff always happen on weekends?

so my car wouldn't start after work Thursday night. Got it jumped, went to a work thing and it started up 3 hours later. Fine yesterday. Got in this morning and wouldn't start. Got back tonight and tried again, first time it wouldn't turn over, but did a series of clicks. Tried again and it started.

Battery is from last fall, lights all come on - is this probably something like the starter then?

Garh, we literally just took it in last week to get something fixed.
First check your cables are tight. A place like Autozone can test the battery for free to see if it is bad. You should be able to take it back to wherever you bought it.

Papalew says loose wire, solenoid or starter (could be ignition switch but not likely).
Loose wire is cheapest, then solenoid, then starter is most expensive.
