Simply breathtaking. This is homecoming folks. Man I hope we don't lose this game to that depressing program.

A program that close to KC shouldn't ever look like that. Terrible representation for the conference.

Makes you wonder why they would put $300 mil into stadium renovations.

Football moves the conference realignment needle.

They were almost in a bad spot last time. The GOR is ending fairly soon. They need to make themselves as attractive as possible

I saw a video of the KU spirit walk saturday.. there was no spirit..heck there weren't any people. It was literally just the cheerleaders making a path for the players.

Clearly this shot was taken before the game or in a section of bad seats. The 21k number is pretty bad, but this makes it look like a crowd of 700. Surprised how poorly northern Illinois is drawing. They are usually pretty good.

Look at the section #'s at the top. Between 20 and 21 is 50 yard line seats. That means an entire sideline section of the game is empty. Maybe the game hasn't started yet, but the cheerleaders wouldn't be out there doing anything unless the game was going or about to start.

Is the 21k number attendance or tickets sold? If just the latter than the picture could definitely be during the game.

Maybe because there is more for them to cheer for before the game starts?

Wonder if there is a way KU could say if you buy a fball season ticket or show up to a game, there is a drawing to get hoops season tix.

And also, looking at the attendance stats, how do schools justify their capacity as over 100%?

Maybe it's just after halftime, and no one came back in to the stadium yet.

Those girls have to be feeling like that cheerleader in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High".

Isn't that the one that KU football put out?
It's the kind of thing that I want to say is heavily slanted, but they did the slanting.
I don't know who originally posted it but I think Jared Stansbury retweeted it.
