I’ve been off an on in this thread lately. Have we heard much from @GTO? Been wondering if his mom has gotten out of Puerto Rico and if he’s moved in to the new house.

Haven't heard much from @GTO He'll post in the lookalike thread. Maybe he's been busy moving.

I miss Up All Night with Pants and GTO. With you in the same time zone and GTO going all work work work work, late nights are dead here.

And agree on Mom GTO. The whole PR thing still sucks but our 24 hour news cycle and attention span has moved on to the mass shooting of the day and celebrity sexual misconduct of the day story. People without power and water has no sizzle.

Still alive. Been insanely busy with work and the house and moving. Just moved into our new house last Tuesday and it has been crazy trying to get everything set up and unpacked. To make matters worse, it seems like I'm the only one with ANY urgency to get everything unpacked and put away. I took the day off work today and hopefully get most of it done during this weekend.

My sibs are already talking about trying to meet up for our bowl game. Can you handle another 20-35 people? You'd have babysitters for days.

Because of JBS [Cargill] here in town, we get the not so pleasant smelling days. (Such as today) But, in the past two weeks, there have been three days of a distinct smell of dog crap. And it's been smelled in different parts of town. The "pig" smell is kinda welcome compared to dog crap.

See, here's my idea. Chip in for a large bus. Boxster, Pants, jc, and Velo start out in TC. Stop in Mason City for BC & NW. Stop in Ames for KC, Birdy, and Erik/Rev/Z. Could stop in DSM for any others. (Hopp & WDSM) Stop in Osceola for myself & carvers. (I'd make the drive) Stop in KC for cooler, and then we all crash at GTO's. 8 & nickels might have to get to KC for us to pick them up. Can wxman make it to DSM? Unfortunately, my plan can't figure out how to include the Wisconsinites.

The Sconnies can come crash at our place the night before and get picked up in Ames with us. We've got floor space and air mattresses.

Side note - it's disconcerting to have KC (the person) and KC (the location) in the same thought stream. I read that as 8 & nickels might have to get to me for us to pick them up.

Unlikely. Wind chill was 0 this morning. Pretty sure that Pants froze to death while taking Riley out this morning. I should probably go over and pick up Riley and the guitar. Cause we love the Riley dog.

Brother and SIL are in town from Boston so this weekend all 5 of my nieces and nephew (8 yr old niece, 4 yr old niece, 4 yr old nephew, 1 1/2 yr old niece and 3 month old niece) are in town. Spent the evening with them tonight so today was a win in a big way.
