This is my favorite picture from last night. The expressions on both Keenum's and Diggs's face are incredible.

Yeah, this was my favorite one as well.
The NFL has a laundry list of problems, but you're going to be hard pressed to find another pro sport that produces anywhere near as much postseason drama. Fun game to watch, amazing finish. That's coming from someone who didn't have a dog in the fight.
Kudos to the Saints players who came back from the locker room for the kneel down. I don't get why they had to though. Is there a rule for a minimum number of players that have to be on the field?
great movie.In that case...

The rule I heard today is that if the score occurs during regulation, the XP attempt is required. If it occurs in OT, it does not.The only comparable incident I know of is a Bills - Pats game back in 1998. The Bills got flagged for PI as time expired so the Pats got a free play and scored the go-ahead TD with zeros on the clock. The Bills left the sidelines and refused to come back out for the PAT, so Adam Vinatieri took the snap and walked into the end zone for a two point conversion. So maybe they've changed the rules since then, but I don't think it's required. I'm guessing officials went down to the Saints locker room and requested that the team come back out, and a handful of players obliged. That's why New Orleans lined up eight guys for that play and one of them was the punter.

The auburn bama kick 6 is probably the craziest game ending play i've ever seen, this is #2 imo.I've seen a lot of crazy gane endings, especially in Cyclone sports where I am really emotinally invested, but the sheer impossibly of that gamr makes it the craziest game ending I've ever seen.
Yeah, the XP attempt is required.
I just don't know if the opposing team is required to come back out and line up for it. If that is a rule I don't know how they'd enforce it. Those players who just lost like that aren't going to give two ***** about a fine for the team. If they don't want to come back out they won't.
There are pictures that show only 8 or 9 New Orleans players on the field during the the XP. I don't think there is a minimum defensive players rule, so hypothetically, 1 of them could have stood there for it.

The spread on the game was 5.5. Being that the Vikings took a knee they won by 5 instead of the probable 6 which flipped everything in Vegas.Kudos to the Saints players who came back from the locker room for the kneel down. I saw the ref throw the flag but being that time had expired I wonder if it would actually count. The game was over, players take their helmets off when the game is over. NFL will probably assess a 15 yard penalty against the Vikings on next weeks kickoff.there was a penalty on that last play. Diggs took off his helmet, and the ref threw a flag.
And Saints fans that bet got a consolation prize.I'm surprised they didn't kick it. Any Minnesota fans who bet on them to cover got screwed when they took a knee.
