I'm guessing it started as a mixed bag of fans of the different players, but since it has been an amalgam of players from a bunch of different backgrounds, the fans wouldn't have the same passion for the team as a whole. My guess is that the last two years, most of their fans have been in it for the money. Just opinion, though...not necessarily fact.
Ya I am super excited for the power rankings to come out this Friday and see where we move up from #9. We are big time now.
Honestly I hope to attend the first rounds and am looking forward to Homan and Stinson play the most (outside our big 3 hitters). Guys from my generation in school and kicked some ass. Only thing better than those 2 (besides Vroman RIP) would be Sullivan if he's still in playing form, which I'm sure he is. All time favorite clone, have his autograph proudly displayed in the man cave.
Still remember Homan's shot block in the tournament that went somewhere up near the top rows...it was included in OSM that year.
My biggest Homan story included a house party in Ames where I was shocked to see him and Vroman, and I to this day have no answer to what was to follow.
Homan picked up one of my college friends who was passed out in the bushes once and carried to the backseat of a car.
This team is STACKED
I like to imagine Homan and Vroman were the beer pong duo that kicked everyones ass at house parties

Ya I just told my wife about the event, and just thinking about someone holding Homan's body up for a keg stand, i'm not sure it ever really happened until your post.
Not sure how to post it. But saw on Twitter the overseas elite coach tweeted after reading Cyclone Fanatics newest post on TBT interview and the Kane switch. Seems he is upset. He said “ I don’t understand why some people continue to poke the bear... some will never learn” of course some cyclone fan commented on it and said why poke a bear when we have a lion and the Overseas Elite coach said they don’t recruit Caniadian pro players and stated Royce tried joining their team. I want to beat these guys in the Championship game. In my opinion they wouldn’t have one last year without Kane and they won’t be winning this year either.
Jared came to many, many of our parties. I lived in a very well known party house for two years. There were some incidents that’s for sure including some times he got testy with us.
When A&M was still in the league, we drove down for a ISU football game (2009) and were tailgating and having a good time. Over walked a couple ladies, one who I knew thru a mutual friend, and the other was Marissa Homan. Marissa goes “hey I know you guys, you’re friends with my brother. He brought me to one of your parties once.” (We all kind of looked at each other and gave the ‘friends’ comment a funny eye roll, ha.)
