Supposed to rain the next 2-3 days

I think it's changed over the day. It was 51% when I looked at 4pm, now it's 70%. Guessing it was lower yet when DH said that at 10am. But nothing for us for the next few days otherwise.

Watching Rocky, been awhile since I’ve seen the whole thing. They cut a lot out for TV.

Meanwhile on Encore channel.

Watching Comet channel.
Deep Space. Late 80's horrible scifi at times competes with the B movies of the 60s.

It's like all of the actors are just in on the joke and having a great time.

Ames
Went through the Parade of Homes here yesterday with my parents. Decided I will never have the home of my dreams unless I win the lottery. :( At least half of the show homes were already sold, the two houses that I loved were large and each had a family of 4 living in it. With 5+ bedrooms, would have been perfect for our family of 6.

Was going to go for a bike ride this morning but we were under a severe thunderstorm warning and reported hail at the Boone Speedway. Either went just far enough south that we got nothing or really fizzled out between Boone and Ames. Could have totally gotten a quick ride in.

My parents had come down to the Parade of Homes, headed back north thinking all the storms were going to be east of them. Get a notification from KCCI predicted ping pong ball size hail and high winds in their hometown right when they would be getting home. I think they ended up going 10miles north to eat and didn't have many issues other than hard rain.

Does the husband now need to inspect his brakes?

Searing some flesh of the salmon on the grill to go with my seeds of maze and fermented juice of the grape. And it not even rain. FTW.

Eating supper at 9 pm is such a Boxster thing. I need a better schedule.

That sounds like a tasty meal. It's really hard for me to eat early in the summer, get back from work want to do stuff next thing you know it 8-9 o'clock.

Ate at the Smoking Hereford in Storm Lake last night it was pretty darn good. Deep fried cheese curds were excellent real light breading so great cheesy flavor would recommend. $3.25 pints of blue moon. Had the prime rib it was also quite good. Many sandwiches at tables around us also looked very good would be worth a return visit to.

When I was in NW IA, the restaurant at that location was called Bakers Court (but it closed before I was last in the area in 2007) I wonder when this restaurant started up.
