I hope CMC and crew offer 500+ kids just to piss Iowa and Texas Coaches off more.

Yep, I have no problem if CMC and staff continue to outwork Iowa and Texas by doing their homework on more kids every year and extending offers to those deserving.

I get that they had an offer on the table and it looks like they have a kid they like better in the bag, so they backed off. That happens all the time. But to me, it's a little hypocritical to say anything about other schools' recruiting when everyone offers multiple kids and then pulls offers when they fill up. What's the difference between Iowa/Brock and ISU and the OL from CR that ended up at Miami OH? Nothing, other than one kid was in-state. Early offers mean nothing other than a start to building a relationship.

ISU may well not get Brock and then they'll go find another kid they like. It happens. I'm completely fine with the talent they have in the RB room no matter who they sign this winter.

As far as sending out a bunch of offers, I'm pretty sure that Georgia and Alabama have more offers out than ISU right now. Are hawkeye fans/coaches going to go tell Richt or Saban that they aren't doing it the "right way"? Guessing not. It's not our fault that your coach is old and behind the times.

So if you don’t take the offer immediately, it not committable? Once again what is the committable time period? A week? A day? An hour? And how would that be different than Iowa state?

Why is this so hard for ISU fans?

They only take a certain number of kids at each position. Once those spots start to fill up the coaches may not take a commitment from a kid due to prioritizing other kids at the same position.

This is all a part of The Policy and clearly communicated to the prospect.
