Was in the north woods last week and there were lots of dead/dying trees. Local news reported it as a result of the extreme changes in temps and trees not being able to adapt any more, by my understanding.
Did anyone see an ark being constructed?

Was in the north woods last week and there were lots of dead/dying trees. Local news reported it as a result of the extreme changes in temps and trees not being able to adapt any more, by my understanding.
And the amount of trees that were dead/dying seemed to be much much more than a typical year.
I was tying up my bear bag a few weeks ago and the entire tree I was wrapping my rope around broke right off. Apparently it was done dying.
I don't have one but I'm sure if you google, you'd be able to compare.
Here's the level gauge for comparison. It has risen over 44' in the last two weeks. Currently 5' from the crest of the spill way

my carpet in my finished basement is soaked. I also had water dripping from my living room ceiling on my main floor. I'm pretty upset on that as I just had a new roof installed last August.
I live in Beaverdale and the power was out for a few hours. I couldn't be happier that I bought a house without a basement.
My neighbor had 6 feet of water in his basement. There's still water pooled in the backyard.

I was at a wedding in southern Iowa and I had no idea all this was happening. We live in Indianola and barely had any rain. Lots of downed trees for the storm a few days before, but limited rain. It's crazy how isolated these things can be.
