I'll never understand the people who fail to recognize what a bad position ISU is still in due to realignment. I'm not "butthurt". I'm concerned that UNL set into motion a process by which ISU could end up in the AAC. That would kill ISU athletics as we know it.

There is no value in playing any university from Lincoln, NE. Missouri, yes. Illinois, yes. Nebraska, no.

See ESPN relegating the ISU/Texas game to the longhorn network for further evidence.

You Afraid? Campbell isn't!
Slow down Eddie. We have a great staff, about as good of recruiting as we've ever had, but we should get better established before ever considering that. This new B12 is a meat grinder in football and basketball.

Eh, I don’t blame them for that. Texas gets to put one home conference game per year on the Longhorn Network, correct? I expect it to be us until we play our way out of it. Take down Texas, finish in the top half of the conference the next couple years and suddenly we’re not relegated to the Longhorn Network.

I think a home-and-home would be fun....easy road trip for fans and brings a decent name school to Ames. And they are a very beatable program nowadays.

Funny he didnt mention Oklahoma or Texas, probably because he wants a winneable game. Classic N, afraid to swim with the bigger fish.

Also no, I’d rather play Iowa every year than try to pretend we had a rivalry with them.

I think they already have a series scheduled with Oklahoma. Colorado too.

Coulda had that game every year. They wanted out of the relationship, we didn't. We have moved on. Sorry your new girlfriend wasn't all you wanted her to be. Throw them a bone in basketball and let them come to Hilton.

As long as they pay for that privilege.

For fun, I could see Pollard offering them a home-home-away deal. Two in Ames, then one in Lincoln. The prodigal Huskers have to earn the privilege.

Frost will turn Nebraska around. No doubt...

Why do people keep saying this? Is it because the Big 10 West is so mediocre outside of Wisconsin?

He was head coach of UCF for 2 years. UCF wasn't exactly a doormat of a program for 20 years before his arrival.

Rotate between iowa and knu, however we only play in Ames, iowa here one year and Nebraska the other. We play 3 home non-conference games every year

Yeah, rivalries with real emotion stemming from on and off the field history would be so awful. Especially for a team with very few to zero natural rivals in the conference. Who needs rivalries in college football.

Nebraska didn't put ISU on the brink, ISU historically being one of the worst P5 football teams put ISU on the brink. Osborne and company acted like spoiled children but to pretend like realignment doesn't exist without them is small minded.
