Iowa State Uniform Discussions (update: new basketball unis)

It seems like whenever there is a line going across or down from the middle of the numeral, they have a swirl that goes downward (never upward). Hence the difference between the 6 and the 9. I could be wrong, but that seems to be the design element.
W-C-W is sharp. W-B-W looks like 2 different uniform sets merged, I hope they don't use that one (at least not frequently).
God ******* damnit. Iowa is not the only ******* school that uses the mother ******* color black. This **** is already getting old.
Any Chiefs fans out there? I am so there. Anyway, was watching their 2nd pre-season game Fri. night against the Falcons.
I got to thinking, not that I am a huge fan of white fasemask on red helmet, but we could do it for change of pace. And the Falcons brw combo looks pretty sharp, IMO.
A lot of cool combo possibilities, especially if they are willing to change out the facemasks. They have black, white, and red, and maybe chrome red facemasks to work with. And this Toledo pic from 2015 shows that they have done so in the past.

The Falcons have just enough red on their black helmets to make it work. We'd have to put our cardinal stenciled logo on the black helmet, and maybe a cardinal facemask to make it work, but it could be a good combo.

You really think we're the only fanbase in the country to talk a lot about uniforms? Ummm... not. Everyone does it. There are websites dedicated to writing about school football uniforms. You might as well get used to, or just ignore it if you don't like it. It's here to stay.
And... get off my lawn too!
I know this is a joke, but Iowa State actually does have one of the best apparel merchandising and design programs in the midwest, if not the entire country.
Which makes it even more embarrassing that JP went somewhere else and paid them big bucks to come up with the worst bugle looking tornado logo ever seen.

I don't hate any of these. I'll be keeping track to see how many you get right/wrong throughout the season.

Big fan of the Black pants/Jersey and red helmet. Also really like the white helmet, black or red jersey, white pants combos.

Some of those look nice. I doubt there will be any black involved in the uniform when we play Texas Tech though.
I thought that too at first but really wanted it for halloween. Also, we wore gray/anthracite vs TOE last year. Never thought that would happen.
