Every time anyone thinks Iowa state fans are smart they just need to read this thread and the stupid people that think this game is a bad deal. Lots of stupid.
How is it different from beating SDSU? We lost a win when that game was canceled. All we've done is get it back. Its not like we substituted OU for Incarnate Word.
I've been on the UIW campus in San Antonio a few times. Very charming - lots of red brick. Used to play DII sports and I felt like they had great facilities for that level. I don't know why so many schools feel they have to move up to a higher division (DI in hoops now). I like the place.

I’m sure the starters could have the day off, but it still would be a drain on the off week. Doesn’t game day time count towards the practice time limit?

I don't know the answer to this but Pollard did say the night of the rainout that he talked with CMC and he was OK playing the bye week.
The 12th game FCS addition is a big win. But I was just curious what JP said about bye week vs.12/1 decision. The email I received from the AD didn't really say, but there's probably more out there that I have not heard.
if we don't make a bowl game, the new 4 game redshirt rule lets us play all of our young guys. If you guys don't think that is valuable then you are mentally challenged.
