Killing time in an airport ...

Some schedule notes for our dudes:

Nuggets' busy schedule this week (alas, no national TV):

MON, OCT 29 vs. N. Orleans Pelicans
WED, OCT 31 vs. Chicago Fighting (Spacing?) Hoibergs
THURS NOV 1 vs. Cleveland Post-LeBronners
SAT, NOV 3 vs. Utah Jazzy-Nazzy Niangs

(like I said, I'm killing time)

Utah this week:

WED, OCT 31 vs. Minnesota
FRI, NOV 2 vs. Memphis
SAT, NOV 3 vs Monte and company

Thunder (c'mon, DB and Dooley - catch the wave and have career highs, too)

TUES, OCT 30 - vs. Clippers
FRI NOV 2 - vs. Hornets
SAT NOV 3 - vs Washington

And, an important note for those who are in Central Iowa: Naz and the SLC Stars play the Iowa Energy at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines at 7pm on Friday, NOV 2. This is the season opener - could be ugly - but it's probably Naz' only appearance in the region this year. He's a loyal son, forever true - I hope there's a nice hand for him.

Speaking of former Cyclones. Hoiberg may literally get fired after this game tonight. Down 92-50 at HALFTIME (at home). I know GS is an amazing team but, that has to be historically BAAAAAD defense.

I think Hoiberg is safe I’m hoping that the Bulls have embraced the tank and are going to rebuild through the draft.

You are probably right - but, man, 92 points at home is gonna make the fanbase & Chicago Media EXTREMELY triggered & they will likely be clamoring for a change.

Tonight the Nuggets went to 5-1 with a win over the N.O. Pelicans (A. Davis' elbow kept him out). Monte got 24 minutes and had 7 pts, 3-9 FG, 1-4 3P, 2 ASST, 3 steals and, ahem, 2 TO.

So far, he's averaging 21 minutes, 9 pts, 40% FG and 4.4 assists. Those numbers are way better than I would have guessed.

Would be nice if Monte was hitting at a higher percentage but maybe that will come as he settles in

Missing a few too many floaters and getting more lay-ups swatted at the rim (NBA>College).
I haven't really watched as much as I would like so thanks for the info. Makes sense. He will work on it and adjust I'm sure.
