Come on down. More the merrier. Can't wait to fill up the stadium with Cyclone fans.

It is little cheaper if you go buy tix through https://www.ticketsforless.com/
Ticket prices are floating around at 12-16 bucks at the moment.

See you on Saturday!

Seriously guys, you can sit anywhere you want. Just buy the cheapest tickets you can to get inside.

We usually move to the sun or shade depending on the weather.

This!

Just buy cheapest tix. Move over to wherever the heck you want. There will be a plenty of seats on our team.

For those heading down to Lawrence, the Wheel will be opening at 8am on Saturday and will have breakfast 'til 10:30. Been there in years past and always a great time. It is a few blocks from the stadium. Hope to see many Cyclone fans there!

Yeah, you don’t understand secondary markets.

Uhhh, alright. Love people who make bold statements with no substance.

That's 100% the way that concert tickets work around here. If you don't get them from the source in a reasonable amount of time (especially if they sell out), resellers will have them and put them up on Ticketmaster/StubHub for way more than the base price.

When the demand isn’t there they drop. Simple economics 101. As someone who has been going to Iowa State away games for practically a decade, I bought many tickets less than face value. And I’ve also bought concert tickets for less than face value as well because people are trying to dump them and at least get back a little of the money they spent on the tickets.

Stubhub is the epitome of supply/demand lol.

A game like this you buy tickets on stubhub the day of on your phone. That’s when they will be cheapest. Although it’s not much different than now, haha.

Wife hasn't said no way yet. Possibly coming down Saturday morning [5hr drive] and stay Saturday night in kc. Kind of excited need to actually hash out plans tonight as it was late last night when I started getting the itch to go again

That makes sense, but my argument was who is dumb enough to buy KU football tickets at face value and try to resell them? :p

The people who have said they get them bundled with basketball tickets make the most sense. I really hope people didn't think the aftermarket is a good idea for KU football.

I called the ticket office yesterday. Looks like you can park in lot 52 for $25 and it would be a really short walk to the stadium. Although filling up Allen Field House parking lot would be nice to see as well...

This is the info I am looking for! Keep the tailgate tips coming. We are pretty dead set about staying in KC after the game so if there is a meet-up at P&L after let us know.

I also bought sec 22, cant wait to see a sea of red

...did you intentionally skip over (literally) the next sentence in my post? It's pretty obvious I meant people purely buying football tickets, and not bundles.

There is a neighborhood right next to the stadium where you can pay to park and tailgate in people's yards. This is what we did last time with our RV and it was really fun. We were literally right next to the stadium and it really didn't cost that much money comparatively speaking. The yard tailgating with everyone around was pretty unique and cool actually. The KU fans were really pretty nice.
