No way a 2 loss UGA gets in over a 1 loss OU who avenged their loss and won a conference championship.
Exactly. Kirk H. I think said something, as well as the SEC commissioner (go figure) said the SEC deserved two teams or thought Georgia wouldn’t move down from 4. I’m sorry, Georgia had a shot versus a top 4 team, they lost, that’s it, get them out, next man in. Next man being OKLAHOMA

Yes but I'm firmly in the tin foil hat that ESPN has a STRONG influence on who gets in. Herbstreit is just relaying that info and dropping those nuggets beforehand
They do have some influence and definitely try to use it at times, but i think they also have to create some uncertainty so that people watch their selection show tomorrow.

Outside of Herbstreit's asinine opinion that they should go to 3rd, the other problem is if Georgia ends up staying at 4th you have the same matchup two games in a row.

Also, how does no one ever mention that the SEC teams only play 8 conference games.

No way is the committee putting in an 11-2 UGA team who just lost over a 12-1 OU team that just won their conference championship. Not to mention they just beat every team on their schedule after avenging their Texas loss. ESPN and Herbie can lobby all they want, but it won’t happen. And Ohio St won’t jump OU, especially with NW sticking in the game.
They playoff will be:
1) Bama
2) Clemson
3) ND
4) OU

His whole “go to 3rd” argument is a transparent attempt to avoid that (and give the SEC a shot at two in the title game).

Ohio state did every thing they could at the end with the game over to try to put more points on the board....

If anything..I’m wondering if the committee punishes ND for not playing today..eh hum...TCU.

The Committee chair and all these media people talk about is the 13th game and how important it is...Heck I could see ND drop to 4th and OU to 3rd..
