Testifying
Outback, like many other B1G bowls, is a good one. I wonder if Iowa’s fan base isn’t too enthusiastic about it because they’ve been there quite a bit.
I know if we went to the Liberty as frequently, I’d be burnt out.

I don't think ND deserves to be in final 4, mainly because they are not in a power 5 conference! This could be a way for the NCAA to force them to join the ACC since their Basketball programs are in a conference!

guessing when the game locations is released there will be a lot of added flights to that city. Not much for options to Florida right now

I get around
True but close enough I’d expect 5k or so Iowa fans milling around Orlando for our game. Maybe more.
The Citrus Bowl in Orlando on Jan 1 would be even worse. No chance at that for the hoks though as they aren't good enough.

Started doing a little searching for flights from Des Moines to Daytona Beach. 10 minutes ago I could have gotten one for $348, now it's $808.

I think we’d have more people in San Antonio than we did Memphis. No doubt we’d bring more fans (although WV travels well too) but saw on Twitter that the Alamo has never taken a team worse than #17 since it’s rise up the bowl pecking order.

Hoping for Alamo but expecting Orlando.

Straight to Orlando has cheaper flights than $800. Some upper $400's, lots of $500's.

They've also stayed in lockstep with the conference standings.

2014: Kansas State - highest conference finisher available (3rd)
2015: TCU - highest conference finisher available (T-2 with OSU, lost to OSU HTH; OSU went NY6)
2016: Oklahoma State - highest conference finisher available (T-2 with WVU, beat WVU HTH)
2017: TCU - highest conference finisher available (2nd)

Just saw that too. 4 straight top 15 match ups for the Alamo. SA would have been great, but now I would be very surprised if we end up there. I do think we would take that city over compared to WVU, but it may not matter.
