F the SEC/B1G but I do wish UGA or OSU would get in over Notre Dame. I think whoever Notre Dame plays in the semis it's gonna be a slaughter

Anything outside of Bama vs OU and Clemson vs ND needs a playoff expansion. This whole thing is a predictable mess.

It wont happen, but id also be fine with Bama\OU\Clemson\OSU. We were told breathlessly a few years back that having a 13th data point vs a conference title contender was important. ND didnt have that, and all of those 4 did and won. I know Notre Dame is undefeated, but i can also look at common opponents and see OSU with much more convincing wins over Northwestern and Michigan.

I agree, but if you’re leaving out a 12-0 team or even a 25-0 team (UCF), you need to expand

Hosts of the BIG championship post game show unanimously ranked em Bama-Clemson-OU-ND.

Got to be good for big 12 that some analysts have OU leapfrogging ND and OSU still out.

I definitely agree expansion is needed. I dont think it would even be all that controversial this year.

Alabama, Clemson, OU, Ohio State, Washington (P5 champions), UCF (best G5 champion), Notre Dame (At large), Georgia (At large)

Just listen to the man @ChrisMWilliams and that’s all you need to know about this bowl sitchiashin. He’s a guy on the radio but he’s the most connected guy on the radio when it comes to ISU.

He’s in to country music and the suburban redneck lifestyle way too much but dude is a master at making telling you what he knows sound like it’s just an opinion.

29 point rout by Purdue is the nail in the coffin. That margin is bigger than the margin of victory in either of Ohio State’s convincing wins. OU avenged their loss. Convincing win over a good Texas team. Notre Dame is undefeated with wins over Big Ten teams. Georgia Lost.

Ohio State was trying to run up the score. If the Buckeyes want in the CFP in the future then they can’t have ugly losses by 29 points to mediocre teams.

I get around
San Antonio would be better prepared to handle the onslaught of Cyclone fans than Memphis was. Memphis couldn't handle us, they were running out of everything. But the odds are we end up in Orlando.

And he's getting a backlash for that.

The Spun: Herbstreit's take getting ripped by analysts

Want Georgia to rise to 3rd (or even stay in top 4)? Okee-dokey, but if so, you'd better move Texas up to 7th.

He was bashing the Big 12 defense saying Oklahoma doesn’t deserve to be in with that defense. BIG homer, but sorry Herbie the big ten is garbage besides 2-3 teams. I truly do believe this is like lobbyists in Washington for the CFP

I don't understand why it matters if a game is won 10-9 or 60-50. The goal is to win. I'd rather have 1 loss giving up 40 ppg than 2 losses averaging 30 ppg. I can't wrap my head around why it matters other than old man brainwashing.

I used to think Kirk was a voice of reason but he blew that out of the water a few years ago.

I've already reserved a hotel in San Antonio but if it's Orlando where would be the district that Cyclone fans would likely hang out?

I went with the UCF area. My hotel is very reasonable for three nights and figure there may be better bars/hangouts in that area. I've never been to Orlando, so just guessing.
