and it took Monte all 4 years to add enough strength to be strong enough to play in the NBA. You never know how anyone is going to develop, but I don't see the NBA clamoring for him even after a couple years. Hate to mess with the kids shot when he is shooting pretty well, but that shot is just ugly to watch until it goes in.
At the 2017 combine, Monte measured 6’3”, 175lbs, with a 6’5” wingspan. Tyrese is 6’5”, 172lbs, with a 7 FOOT WINGSPAN. That is why scouts are drooling.
You can add weight (though the new trend for bigs is to trim down). You can fix a shot. You can’t teach length and athleticism.
