Serious question from the Cougs.

I hear you guys hate your conference leadership as much as we do. Why is that? Would you be interested in a reciprocal Fire Larry chant vs your guy at the bowl?

ISU has a pretty long history of getting screwed by league officials, especially at the end of games. Sometimes they have gotten apology letters from the conference, others, like the KSU football game last year, you just knew Bowlsby was laughing his ass off as he was watching.

Yeah, this is pretty much it for me. I can deal with the big fish power plays in general conference affairs, but it shouldn't give anyone an advantage on the field or on the court.

I mean this in the nicest way possible, but it sounds like we both have been taking **** from our conference. It would be great to embarrass them both at the Bowl on TV

Yeah, I don’t think so. Your conference is run by fools.

But We actively get screwed over. When was the last time more than one flag was picked up in one of your games? When was the last time a ref or official was banned from doing one of your games? How many times has a basketball player been allowed to shoot a 3 in between a 2 shot foul? How many conference apologies have you gotten?

You don’t want to try and out victim us.

You should look into this more before you mouth off.

I don't have any issues with our current conference leadership...other than some officiating and poor bowl tie-ins. Past leadership could have done better in conference realignment, but you can't lay that on Bowlsby.

If what happened to WSU happened to ISU this year, there may have been a legitimate riot

Outside of run ins with league officials on the field, I can't complain. They've navigated two periods of rocky realignment and somehow found the strongest conference structure among the Power 5. Credit for that belongs both to conference administrators and membership.

As the media landscape has changed in the past five years, many believe the Big 12 is best positioned to handle the changing way that people are accessing sports entertainment.

Of course things can change again, and quickly. But at this point if somebody said we needed to add more teams, I'd probably be against it.

I like the job Bowlsby is doing. I am all aboard the Fire Larry chant though. I'll never forgive that snake meeting with several Big 12 schools trying to get them to leave the conference.
True - but when he was targeting the big boys from TX & OK, and only managed to snag Colorado, don't you think that was kind of poetic justice? :D
