The Primerica one captured a couple of friends of mine in college. Really made it hard to hang out with them cause they always tried to recruit you to join the cult.

I made the mistake of going to one of their recruitment meetings. What a waste of time. At least I got a free meal and drinks that night.
Mr. Gordy Bohannon is pretty much a grand wizard at Primerica.

I learned about this crap when I was a sophomore at ISU. Had a HS classmate, whom I'd never really known, call me out of the blue to say "Hey, I work for this company and we're hiring for summer interns. I think you'd be a great fit and it pays really well, like $8,000 for the whole summer." Me being a naive idiot thought "that sounds amazing!" so I met her and her boss at the Union. Yeah, it was a door to door book selling gig. They bought you a plane ticket to Houston and gave you $250 for your first week. Then, all your financial support was based on your sales. They did not provide housing or a ticket back home. "Where will I stay if I can't make any sales?" "You'll be selling so much you won't have to worry about it." Yikes. Thank God I got out of there before agreeing to anything.

I had two friends in college that went this route. One was one of the coolest girls I'd known and was a lot of fun to be around. I think she was having some trouble with school and was maybe a little lost and they got ahold of her and completely changed her. Now, she seems to think they saved her life and maybe they did but it didn't seem as she needed that much help. It also looks like she's doing well professionally but I doubt she's the norm. The other one did it for a few months and then one day showed up as one of our reps for a company so she got it figured out.

What is that makeup or lotion stuff they sell from a kiosk at the mall? The people are like Israeli or something. Those people are pushy pushy pushy. And how come they never hire ugly girls?

But still a totally waste of money for being a pyramid scheme. If would be more helpful to convince yourself that drinking 3 glasses of water in the moorning will make you happier, help lose weight, and give you energy. It will be more cheaper and actually is somewhat beneficial(drinking more water actually does help weight loss).

This product reminds me of the whole astronaut skin patches another pyramid scheme peddled that gave you energy and was made out of material NASA created. NASA actually had to come out and publish a report about how the company made up all that stuff, how they don’t actually have any magical patches and all of the science behind it was wack.

This is just throwing money away. There are other products and hobbies you can spend less money on or do for free that actually are beneficial.

Completely agree - but its not my money getting thrown away... It's someone else looking for a miracle.

Now collodial silver is REAL science and I can show you how to be healthier AND wealthier if I can have a few minutes of your time...

Gratie! I was seduced by a lovely middle eastern/Israeli woman in Calgary.

Youre getting scammed. They don’t work, it’s all a placebo effect. You're convincing yourself it’s working when it isn’t doing anything at all. There are a lot better ways of wasting money than this.
I am not wasting money if you would of read the whole time. I pay nothing. As long as you have 2 people that are taking it with you its free.

I challenge you to try it for 10 days then tell me it does not work. Many people that are taking it will happily give you a trial for free.

I am done talking about it. Sorry. It does not matter to me either way if you guys try it or not. I know it works for me and I know it works for many friends and family of mine also. I will leave it alone.

Tried it and felt nothing last spring before heavy biking season started..

The only thing I found to work was eating better and working out. Cycling is my go to and helped me drop 55lbs overall over the years.

Thanks Mega Shake

Don't be done. I'm seriously curious (not curious enough to buy but more on the expense side). If 2 people buy this, and it pays $800 for you car payment, how much do they each spend on this?

Weird. It's almost like "diet and exercise" are the answer to weight loss and health instead of [insert amazing new "scientific" breakthrough] pills.

Many options but the average one is around $150 a month. The 2 people thing was talking about getting free product. I said 2+ when talking about the car. To get the $800 car payment (Has to be Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, Cadillac, Audi, Tesla) you need $12,000 in product bought by your team each month.

I hope the 2 people you're ripping off aren't friends or family.

Company gives you an allowance for a car, but requires that you buy high end brands? What happens if you quit or don't sell? You're stuck holding the bag on a $50,000 car? Or do they own it?

Well Science says it adds nothing to you. The patch you wear is useless and can't get the green tea or whatever into your blood stream. So wearing that thing is useless. It's basically an advertising scheme that Thrive people put on their arms so they can show that they are not just drinking vitamin shakes.
The rest of the stuff is just normal vitamins. This is not my opinion. These are facts by experts in the field. So basically it's a $150 a month to take a multi vitamin, have some caffeine, and take a low dose asprin. If you want to pay that much for those three things. Have at it.

What the hell? On CF we don’t have car payments.....we pay cash upfront
