Lindell oozes potential and can elevate. He needs to get that 3 point % up.

Eric Snow lasted 14 seasons in the NBA and for some reason Lindell reminds me of him.

He was working his butt off on D last game, even though you could tell he was still probably a half step slower than usual, the hard work to get to a good position guarding did not go unnoticed to me. He got beat off the dribble badd, when they finished with the slam, but you could tell that he just misread the move and was beat right away. Other than that, him showing that type of effort on D was very encouraging to me.

Drew 2 charges last two games due to his quick feet. The OSU guard is super quick as well and both players having equal athleticism, the offensive player has the advantage since he knows where he is going. Haliburton said LW is the best perimeter defender on the team and, going out on a limb, I'm guessing that conclusion is based on actually playing against him on a regular basis.

Lindell is coming off an injury, so a lot of what he did last year might not matter much anymore. Scouts are going to want to see how he is now, and if he can get back to being the same player as last season, or actually a better player than he was last year. So far he hasn't shown that same ability yet this season, but it's still VERY early.
He sure showed the ability to get to the rim (and the line) in the last game and he was making them. That is a good start.

Interesting comparison...I like it. He has a little more athleticism than Eric though. Don't remember Eric throwing it down very often.

I think it’s more so because Eric would play the 2 once in a while and Lindell is really good off the ball.
Body size they are similar but like I said Lindell can elevate.

Horton-Tucker is a man child. Body needs to mature... like Wiggs. One more year min.

I was looking at Fran Fraschilla's tweets and came across this one. I kind of have to agree - seems premature to have TH and THT so high so early.

If Wigginton hadn't been hurt and came out the same or slightly better than last year it would make sense to see him projected late first round. If he returns to form and is All B12 he could probably get back there.

As it is though I think we have 3 guys who would all be in the 50-100 range for prospects (yes I think TH is on the radar now)...which is actually a fantastic place for a program to be if none of them are seniors.

As I've said earlier, THT is up and down. He has the potential to play in the NBA, but he's not consistent with it. He really needs to get his 3 pointer down to get into the NBA. He will be undersized in the NBA at his position, so either he learns how to play PG really well (not happening though anytime soon) or he starts shooting better. He has a few years to figure that part out, but 28% from 3 point in college is not attractive. He puts up some really tough shots, and sometimes amazingly makes them but of late is not. This will become harder in the NBA. I'm sure he realizes this, hopefully. Highly doubt he's going to go this year, I'm sure we have him for 2-3 years minimum. Really hope he stays 4 years as he has a lot of potential obviously.

Potential. He just turned 18. Not to mention his length. And he already is a half-way decent point forward. Really good vision and assists.

Maybe to be a successful NBA player, but to get drafted THT just needs the occasional Illinois type game. And if he does get positive draft feedback, he should go. His stock may never be higher.

People need to get over themselves THT is a phenom and the NBA is all over him. Stop downplaying him.

It’s like people don’t understand that almost all of the drafting done by NBA teams is on potential. They see a body, and a skill set with abasketball IQ off the charts.

I won’t be surprised if he comes back for one more year, but if he goes off over the next 3 months, he will be gone.

This is correct - and people wrongly confuse "potential" with "athleticism." People see a few cases like the Cavs and Bennett, especially with bigs, where a guy with no skill gets drafted based on size, length and athleticism, and thinks that's the norm.

NBA teams have seen some great things from THT, things that are difficult to teach in terms of feel for the game. They are also smart enough to know that a guy that just turns 18, playing in his first big-time games is going to make some mistakes and have bad games.

He's been better defensively than a lot of people expected. Guys like PJ tucker have shown with length and physicality an undersized guy can hold his own on the defensive end. Teams are going to assume he'll develop into a good 3 point shooter, and offensively you've got an incredibly versatile guy.

There is no doubt the NBA drafts on potential, but his current 3-pt percentage I think is brutal enough to scare most teams away for now. Like others have said, he needs to improve his consistency and 3-pt shot most of anything. Who knows, maybe he will pull off both this year and be a legit prospect and maybe not.

Oh good god. Look beyond your nose. Or, gasp, educate yourself about basketball.

He’s a legit prospect now.

And it’s not like they have him going in the lottery. He’s down towards the playoff teams in the mocks. Great stash potential for a team that has their **** together.
