We are legit 10-11 players deep. Solomon didn't play really at all today and we're going to have games where he's a key guy.

That has only existed in the fevered minds of a select few.

At least on Twitter, there were a lot of excuses by some KU fans. Sorry, but ISU played some pretty good defense today for the most part while KU did not play very good defense. They gave ISU too many open or open-enough shots to shoot better than normal in the 2nd half. A number of the turnovers that KU had today were caused by ISU defense and not necessarily boneheaded plays by them.

I think Azubuke (sp?) being out contributed of course to this, so it'll be interesting to see what happens next game. ISU doesn't have an answer for him, but regardless KU at almost no time in this game today (maybe a few minutes) looked better than ISU. ISU looked better for almost the entire game IMO.

The margin of victory alone makes every excuse they can come up with irrelevant.

I'm way more confident in him hitting a three or jumper than a layup.

Totally agree. If it was 6 or 7 points or less, then they could have some points. Winning by 17 though, sorry KU fans. ISU was clearly the better team today.

I watched the women's team vs. Bucknell when I was visiting family in Central IA for Christmas. Carlton is the female Niang, with a bit more athleticism relatively speaking.

Just starting to wrap my head around this game.

That may have been the best game planning against Kansas I have seen from an ISU coach. We have won many in the past on sheer effort/ gut it outedness. CSP out coached Billy Boy and it wasn't close.

2nd place would be two years ago in Lawrence.
