And it’s not like they have him going in the lottery. He’s down towards the playoff teams in the mocks. Great stash potential for a team that has their **** together.

He’s exactly the type of player that a good team can take and give time to.

People need to get over themselves THT is a phenom and the NBA is all over him. Stop downplaying him.

He might be. Whatever. Age is not a good reason to draft someone. There is a reason I don't watch the NBA anyway.

I was looking at Fran Fraschilla's tweets and came across this one. I kind of have to agree - seems premature to have TH and THT so high so early.

Ratings based on potential. THT’s offensive game appears to need work. The game’s still about putting the ball through the hoop, which is something at which he’s struggled early in conference play.

There is no doubt the NBA drafts on potential, but his current 3-pt percentage I think is brutal enough to scare most teams away for now. Like others have said, he needs to improve his consistency and 3-pt shot most of anything. Who knows, maybe he will pull off both this year and be a legit prospect and maybe not.

Once again the NBA drafts on potential, THT has been a streaky 3 pt shooter but has good form thus potential their once he can focus 24 hrs a day and be paid to do so. The NBA will be willing to have him develop that in the league with their pro staffs. Ben Simmons went #1 and still doesn't shoot the 3 yet.

THT is near athletic enough yet to play in NBA.. they do draft on potential no doubt.. him just turning 18 helps isu and him staying.. he could play another year and be only 19 in the 2020 draft..

Man, you are kind of obnoxious. Disagreeing is perfectly okay, but you must be tons of fun to hang around.

Ok. And I am.

But actually understanding the subject would make a world of difference for you. Strive for that instead

Right, where THT is projected, a good playoff team isn't necessary taking fliers hoping to get lucky and find a superstar. If they can upgrade their rotation, they are going to be happy.

Bleacher Report has updated their NBA Big Board.

45. Tyrese Haliburton (Iowa State, PG, Freshman)
Haliburton will need another year at Iowa State, but he's making more watch lists with his 46.8 percent three-point shooting, assist-to-turnover ratio (66 to 14) and defensive playmaking (2.1 steals per game). His scoring and athletic limitations inside the arc hold him back.

30. Talen Horton-Tucker (Iowa State, SG, Freshman)
It's been a tough stretch for the slumping Horton-Tucker, who's finished under 10 points in five consecutive games. He'd likely become the youngest NCAA player in the draft (turns 19 in November) if he chose to declare, though. And through the inefficiency, he's still turned heads at Iowa State with his ball-handling, shot-making (1.4 3PTM) and active defense (1.4 steals).

He seems like someone that a team would take a flyer on in the 2nd round, but also a guy that could come back with a year under his belt and really show his game, quite possibly earning his way into the 1st round or even lottery (and would still be 19).

I don't see THT or TH leaving this year. Both will benefit greatly from at least one more year.

Honestly, I'm not sure I see Wigginton leaving this year either. He will need to show some dramatic improvement unless he's willing to roll the dice and give it a go as an undrafted FA.

Wow so they have Wigginton out of the first two rounds. We seriously might get him back next year.

I think there's a decent chance all 3 are back. Wiggy's problem is the clock is really ticking. I'm afraid he may have come in to this year planning on leaving no matter what.

I think Wigginton leaves. THT is back. No way Haliburton is leaving.

No way THT is leaving either. I agree Wigginton is gone, but I would be surprised if he gets drafted in the first round. Im guessing his mind is set on leaving.

I honestly don't feel any of them will be anything but bench players at best in the NBA, and none will probably go in the first round. That's not a slam on them, but more a commentary on how incredibly difficult it is to make it in the NBA. They all have the ability to be amazing college players. The NBA is a global league with small rosters. It is the most difficult pro league to find a spot in.

As of today this could happen but there is half a season yet to go. Lot of time for each player to help their stock especially in the NCAA tournament.

Main take away for me is ISU has a lot of talent that the Pro Scouts are paying attention to. I do think Wigginton will work his way up boards but due to the injury his stock likely won't be in the 1st round. His original goal was to be a First rounder so not sure if that has changed for him?
