You have enough scorers on this team without Wig. Continue to reduce his minutes significantly until you see progress with him in playing team ball.

'One of the best players on the team' don't play like they are drunk in tonight's big game (the entirety of it tbh).

Wigg had some nice passes tonight and tried to make a play for a teammate that went incredibly wrong and there was blame to go around in that play. Wigg wasn’t blaming TH he was pointing out the proper place to be on the court in that situation and NWB was telling TH the same thing.

He just had a terrible shooting night. It happens.

It was a bad game, but oddly enough he had the chance to be the hero tonight too. He made the 3, then could have finished at the rim, instead of getting blocked, and should not have had the turnover on the fast break. But if he scores two layups there, then they may have won.

Unless he got sick after they left.

Listen I like Conditt and he's going to be good, but he wouldn't have been the difference.
How do you know?

Look, if a guy is too sick to play he should not travel. End of story. He needs to be home in bed. All you are doing is running the risk of relapse and/or it turning into something more severe like strep or mono and then you lose the kid for a month. It's probably just an alibi for a minor team infraction, but if we are truly bringing guys on road trips that are too sick too go that's just plan stupid.

Imagine being the best player on every team from the time you are in elementary, being so close to being a millionaire last year he could taste it, to then getting hurt and forced to come off the bench in what he thought would be his last year as an amateur. There’s no doubt Wigginton is dealing with a lot of frustration mentally, he may come to a realization he’s going to have another year in college and start playing more freely.

Who knows, maybe it clicks and he averages 18 a game in February/March and he’s gone.

Unpopular opinion: I think Wigginton is actually playing great team ball right now, at least a lot better than last year. He's been confident, maybe irrationally, in taking shots and hasn't been making them, but I'd rather he take those shots than play timid. I don't really think the ball sticks with him at all on offense. In fact, I prefer how the ball moves when he touches it, since there's a pretty good chance he's going to penetrate and open things up.

This one's on me, fellas. We were up six and I just couldn't hold it anymore. Had to poop. Came out of the bathroom and we were down nine. Sorry guys.

or me. Not sure why I did this with fran on the call but muted tv to listen to john and eric. The ku run happened when I did this. I shut off our guys and boom we started playing well again.

All I want for my birthday is to celebrate a win here at Phog Allen Fieldhouse. I hope the team is listening!
Had a great time, had really sweet (and pretty) students sitting around us. And a crabby old dude in front of us. He glared every time we clapped. I was really behaving, and he STILL hated us sitting there. :(

The girls were fun though - when they found out it was my birthday they were telling all the bars I should go to for free shots. :D

Disappointing finish but they really had to work for that win, and I take enjoyment from the fact that we beat them by 17 in OUR house...which is a helluva lot nicer, IMO - I mean, we have padded SEATS. None of this bleacher crap!

Did you give them my number?

Also, happy birthday, Auntie!

Yeah, you just knew that people were going to take a 2 second burst of frustration and run with it. I have no idea if Haliburton has been taught to go deeper in the corner, or if Lindell just expected him to and guessed wrong, but either way, it's a play that happens sometimes and it's natural for a player to be frustrated when it does. No more to it than that.

Halliburton made a freshman mistake. Since Fred was here, anytime we fast break we fill the corners. Halliburton just had a freshman moment.

Happening more often than not; including FTs. Last six games only against OK ST. did he shoot above his last season average.
