Agreed. Will be pretty stupid if Ghost and Nymeria don't get some pretty hefty screentime this season.
I think they both definitely have screentime this final season. I just learned today (via YouTube channel Emergency Awesome's trailer breakdown) that Ghost was supposed to be in a scene last year but they ended up cutting it for time.

So they're both around. We'll see them again.

Not sure. Maybe. But in the books Nymeria plays a massive part which I'm still holding out for. Arya sends the direwolf away but the wolf builds an army of wolves and comes back to her when she needs it, I am guessing in this Great War. As JRRM said, 'you don't hang a giant wolf pack on the wall with no intention of using it.'

That being said, HBO has been veering away from the books so maybe Nymeria is just gone for good. I hope not.

Can't imagine they would have brought her back just for one scene if they aren't going to use her again, but then again who knows at this point.

Why I don't the theory: The show has already shown that Bran is not the Night King:

Also, regarding that newest trailer that dropped last night...

The three statues of the three Stark children, to me, show different ages. Jon looks very old. Sansa looks the same age, Arya looks older. That tells me Sansa is toast this year and that Jon and Arya live.

I think everyone is reading way too much into the "age" of the statues. It is really difficult to get a statue to actually look like someone (walk into the Pro Football Hall of Fame sometime - most of the busts in there don't look like the person they're supposed to represent), much less represent age in a statue. While I also think that Sansa is the least likely of those three Starks to survive, I'm personally not buying into the statues being a spoiler as to who will and won't survive.

We have 3 people on redemptive arcs, these people almost always die, performing their un final act of redemption: Theon, Jaime and the Hound. My guess, Theon kill Euron. Saves Yara. Jaime kills Cersei, saves Tyrion. The Hound kills the Mountain, saves Arya, possibly Brienne of Tarth.

Imagine if the Hound and Brienne had boys...I bet they would be pretty formidable

Have also seen some different places that will take bets on who rules the throne at the end of the season
  • Daenerys Targaryen (2:1)
  • Jon Snow (2:1)
  • Bran Stark (3.5:1)
  • The Night King (10:1)
  • Tyrion Lannister (12.5:1)
  • Cersei Lannister (15:1)
  • Jaime Lannister (15:1)
  • Sansa Stark (25:1)
  • Arya Stark (40:1)
  • Euron Greyjoy (50:1)
  • Varys (75:1)
  • Gendry (75:1)
  • Samwell Tarly (75:1)
For my money, I'd take The Night King at 10:1 and maybe even throw out a flier on on Gendry.
Samwell Tarly gonna get out of the Library and kick some ass

Uh oh...

https://www.foxnews.com/entertainme...-one-will-be-satisfied-with-the-seires-finale

"Maisie Williams says no one will be satisfied with the series finale"

Or is it a riddle and she means she is satisfied with the season finale?

Kind of a click-bait title, if you ask me. It is more about people not happy the show is over more than the actual outcome of the story.
It probably just means that everyone has their own version of what they'd like to see happen and they can't satisfy the masses.

I feel like it's going to be a situation where there's no "happy ending" and people are going to be ticked off about that.

Correct. We will be lucky if it's not a complete bloodbath with the Night King ruling over a new Ice Age.
GoT has all but confirmed (through media interviews) there will be a MASSIVE battle in episode three. This battle is supposed to make the Battle of the Bastards look like child's play. I think that's where the Night King will die. Then the last couple episodes will be resolving the story ie Cersei dying, who is King/Queen, who rules what land.

Sophie Turner came out and said that latest teaser trailer was only shot to be a commercial and is not part of the show
