Abdel got better but all gains there were negated by the steps backward that Jameel took.
I'm not too confident limping in to March, and depending on who leaves next year is a big question mark. Not every guy is going to be Chris Beard. Dude is a flat out stud coach. The other guys that are better than Prohm have been doing this forever. Some coaches take time at this high level to figure it out. It's really his first year of his own full roster, and he's learning on the job. Maybe he will become really good, maybe he won't.

Jameel took his own steps back and was limited in real offensive ability no matter what.
Nader and Burton got better because they went from 6th man roles to playing 30 minutes a game. Of course their numbers are going to be better, they arent Nicholas Baer talent where they get worse the more they play.
Monte was always Monte, his scoring increased because he had to be the primary scorer, not because of some masterful job Prohm did coaching.
People are surprised prohm got handed a group of highly polished professional players and did well. Like we literally had people saying his cupboard was equally bare to hoiberg last week.Yeah, I generally agree with you. I’d say the development of that group of guys met expectations. Maybe slightly exceeded them.
There was definitely a reason the team Prohm took over was in the preseason top 10. Hoiberg was left with Melvin Ejim, Scotty C, Diante Garrett, and Jamie V. That was it. Then Fred had to scramble to find enough guys to have enough players to survive a season.People are surprised prohm got handed a group of highly polished professional players and did well. Yep my first year at isu was hoibergs first year. I remember having 6 serviceable players. There was definitely a reason the team Prohm took over was in the preseason top 10. Check the thread you posted in.I'll just stay out of this snowflake thread
Exactly, and of those 6, 2 were true freshman.Yep my first year at isu was hoibergs first year. I remember having 6 serviceable players.

Coaches should be measured first by their record, second by how they conduct their program, and finally the quality of their youngsters. Fans rationalize around those factors for their own agenda, with little regard for coaches' merit.
I'm mostly just frustrated that the same mistakes we saw in January we see now.So if we can get the guy for a bargain price and he is buddy buddy with the AD then we're ahead of the game?
This is a business. Prohm has a mediocre record in conference. Judging by CF it looks like the fan frustration is growing pretty high.
He needs some wins or this situation isn't going to end well
