Why? Other than that you hate Prohm, that is.
OSU has extremely overachieved. They should have been one of the worst teams in recent P5 history and that was before they kicked some scholly players off the team. You know they actually had school wide open tryouts a while back because they had so few players.

And yet through tall of that they have been highly competitive in almost every game and bounced up off the mat after every loss and still play hard.

Fair enough, and I don't even disagree with you.

It is too bad that you can't seem to appreciate our own team though, recent struggles notwithstanding.

You are a broken record. No one cares what you think
In all my years of posting on the b-ball forum I have never called out someone else as stupid without presenting an alternative argument.

This whole “that’s stupid and you’re stupid for saying it” BS from a certain few is just....

I usually like your posts, but this thread isn't about you. Let it go. Or start a new thread about you.

After game for the seniors celebration. He made a comment about not playing as well the last few weeks. Some ******* yells out “You can say that again”. Prohm sarcastically says thanks for your support. Then thinks about it and turns it up a couple notches. Stating that the team took a real step forward today and thanked the real fans. Was definitely pissed.

Big effing deal. He’s paid millions. Figure it out

Kind of what ISU b-ball fan is becoming known for. Unreasonably entitled, ragy, and unintelligent.

I really didn't want to agree with this but had to, a percentage of our fan base is pretty damn delusional. Any yr we make the NCAA's especially to the Sweet 16 should be considered a good yr for us. I like everyone else wish the wheels wouldn't have fallen off the last month but time to regroup and go from there.

You aren’t making any argument other than that you refuse to accept mediocrity because you’re a real fan.

I was watching on facebook live and saw Prohm’s reaction but didn’t know what it was for. For those there, how loud/audible was it? Obviously loud and clear enough for Prohm to hear, but could the entire arena clearly hear it?

I heard it and was sitting on the opposite side.

I don’t believe Prohm has done a good job, but to do something like that on senior night as he is honoring a group of kids is shockingly classless.
“Kids” classless indeed but we also have serious discussions that these “kids” should get paid.

Are you kidding? I’ve made an extensive and consistent argument:

Steve Prohm has an extreme flaw in his coaching philosophy which gets greatly exposed when coaching against superior in game coaches. That flaw is that he is passive and slow to adjust.

He wants his players to figure it out on the floor by themselves (because he can’t figure it out for them in the huddle). He also runs an offense with little structure and complexity which is easily stifled by good coaching.

His typical timeout huddle speech of “we’ve got to be better” instead of coaching them towards an adjustment is comical.

This style works at a mid major, but in league full of good coaches like the Big 12, it gets abused.

So go ahead and tell me how dumb this is and how bad of a fan in am. I don’t care.

That you’re trying to justify this says everything about you. Amazing that people would think it’s ok.

If they change the rules and the athletes are paid, then the entirety of the spirit of senior day changes.
