Having an ISU legend at Nebraska doesn’t make me any more likely to cheer for them than when an ISU legend coached Iowa wrestling. I will still hope Nabraska fails at everything except beating Iowa.
Or when takes a solid player on our team and has him transfer
For me it's specifically Nebraska; I hate Nebraska. As long as it isn't Iowa, Nebraksa, or Kansas, I really don't care.True, I guess I’m just disappointed that people can’t wish success for a former alumni. Again I just find it childish and petty to wish failure on someone that revived our program and left to pursue a dream.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion though.
You going to be happy when he starts recruiting the same players we do?
Frunzas and Hoibunzas!Well that thread contains the first Go Big Fred I’ve seen. If this happens can’t wait to laugh my ass off at **** like that and see the Frunzas roll off assembly line

Nebraska’s top 3 players are SR’s so they lose a lot but I would bet money Fred will turn them around fast.
They’ll be in the tourney two years from now.
It takes ten years to build a program in the b10. Empirical evidence out east.
I could be wrong, but I’m not overly worried about him poaching players. In his time here, he had what, three really good high school recruits? Niang, Morris and Thomas? And Thomas was the only one from a state we have a pipeline in, and he was a TJ guy through and through anyway.
I guess you can give him partial credit for Ejim, but he only kept him, didn’t recruit him.
Omaha has a lot of, like, fast casual cuisine.
