This is a tough spot, but I think there are a few things working in our favor. The first is that ISU is going to return a great team (even if THT goes pro), Prohm has a significant buyout that I doubt Alabama will cover it. Prohm is due for a raise after this season from Pollard as well. If I had to put a number on it, I would say I’m 90% sure he stays put. Every tourney game he wins also helps our odds as well because it prolongs the time frame for Alabama’s coaching search as I don’t see our coach leaving mid-tourney.

Talen Horton Tucker is not ready for the NBA at this time. Not even close. Prohm will not leave ISU for Alabama.

Sure he is. Most are projecting him mid to late first round. If he’s there in May, one can hardly blame him for jumping to the nba.

The rumor that Alabama might want Prohm? Yeah, that's being ran with. Doesn't increase the possibility that he has any interest in the slightest.
I do not believe that Steve will go to Alabama.
That said, one arguement that I think is immaterial is his buyout. Alabama has the money, and will pay whatever necessary to get their chosen coach - whoever that is.

I know I’ll probably get some thumbs down (and hopefully some dumbs, haven’t gotten one of those yet) and I don’t think I’ve ever said too much negative about Prohm but god I’d trade Prohm in a heartbeat to get Fred back. I love that guy. Hasn’t been as much fun since he left.

People like you make me sick. I've had tons of fun since he left. Sounds like a you problem.

1) Troll
2) Some kind of unhealthy emotional attachment to Hoiberg that should be addressed by a healthcare professional
3) Head is physically up Hoiberg's arse

Even if you want this, it would NEVER NEVER happen. Fred doesn’t want to coach here. He never wanted to coach here. If Iowa state was open and Nebraska was open, he’d take Nebraska.

If prohm leaves our coach is TJ. Full stop.
