Probably Randy’s first question at the post game presserLeave it to the DM Rag to run a “Prohm to Alabama?” article on the morning of our first game...
You know this is going to actually happen. This has the markings of a classic CF thread:
1- Poster comes out of nowhere with a crazy idea.
2- Idea is corroborated but not linked by other posters.
3- Details start to line up.
4- It happens.
The salary numbers floating around match up. From the posts in this thread, it sounds like he has an offer at the minimum.
You need to listen to the podcast. They said Kennedy would move to an administration role and bring Prohm in.
Were doing it again
It’s a pointed comment by a fairly knowledgeable reporter. But these guys hear so much, it’s easy for them to mistake opinions and misconstrued half-truths as facts.I’ll have to listen.
I will say that it seems completely odd for s reporter to make up something as specific as “prohm wants out of Iowa state”.
Alison BrieMy dog says to stop posting these gifs without the name's of said girl. Asked me to type it as he doesn't have thumbs and all.

I won't apply my theory to this thread, since it is full on conjecture. We need a mysterious source that is "in the know."![]()
My hedgehog wants your dog to know that is Alison Brie.
“Prohm wants out of Iowa State” says Rob Dauster when claiming Prohm’s camp reached out about the A&M job prior to Kennedy being officially fired (all this in a general Prohm/Bama/Hoiberg conversation). Starts at around 40:00, with that particular remark around 44:30

He probably got that from his hipster chasing buddy, Travis Hines, who in turn got fed some slanted Abdelmassih opinion.
Who knows, but both could be rooted in truth. Prohm, in the midst of a late season collapse but also able to sell a tournament year, contemplates what “restarts” are out there. A few weeks later, possibly after conversations with JP, he decides the best place for him is at ISU.True, but I'd take this more seriously than the couple of "there's no way he's leaving" comments we've gotten over the last few days.
Yeah, and Chris wouldn't say what he did if he did not have some inside info on the situation. I'm not worried about this.Either this is wrong or @ChrisMWilliams is wrong.

Dude, I used to work with a guy who went to Alabama so now all him and his Alabama buddies are doing is going on about how Alabama is going to land Prohm. They keep telling me that Alabama has a better basketball history (not really), they have more fan support (no way), their program is a billion times better than ours (football, sure, but basketball is definitely not) and that going to Tuscaloosa would be a huge upgrade for Prohm’s coaching career. I disagree with everything these clowns are saying because Alabama basketball has been completely irrelevant since they were the 2 seed back in 2002 and got demolished and completely embarrassed by Kent State in the second round of the dance. It's funny reading Bama's boards on this subject. More often than not, they're bringing up both Prohm and Fred. Neither is going to happen, of course, but many of them seem to have already convinced themselves that Prohm will be their next coach. That fan base has gotten a little out of check because of their football program.
Look at the Wikipedia link someone posted ... most of his stops have been in the 3 to 4 year range. Being able to go to Alabama gives him for certain a 3 to 4 year window before he needs to worry about possibly getting fired. If he goes 10-18 next year at ISU - his seat gets warm. If he goes 10-18 next year at Alabama he gets a hall pass for that!
