The only way I see that is if he goes down a level and goes back down south to a mid or low Major that we bring to Hilton in the non con. Prohm might help him land somewhere like that.
Fred can tie up scholarships on as many of our castoffs as he wants. I hear Ernst is free, too.

I wonder if there is a chance of one or both of them are willing to set out a year and transfer, if they don’t declare. Hard to blame LW if he did.
The only thing I'll miss is the possibility of Lard and Young playing together, I thought Young's ability to clear out and Lard putting up second chance points would pair well. Oh well though, hopefully addition by subtraction if he was an attitude problem.
Killing two years like that for either of them would be stupid.
If they are not playing at ISU next year, they are playing for a paycheck somewhere.

Fred to Nebraska. He brings in Shakur Juiston, Brady Ernst, Darius McNeill and Cam Lard.
I would say one of Fred's greatest achievements while coaching us was keeping Royce out of trouble for 2 years.
With all his troubles that he had in and around the program, I still rooted for the kid. I wish him all the best in basketball and in life. Thanks for your two years that you gave us. Good luck to you.

Lard also largely stayed out of severe foul trouble and was patient with the basketball on offense.
Trying the behind the back pass at an inopportune time was maybe a sign of why he struggled to get PT? People blame the refs and ISU's got players causing 4 point swings because they hate basic basketball.
Honestly, that would actually get me to watch some Big 10 basketball. Especially when they would play EIU.
