Deshaunte Jones on the locker room show was REALLY good. Such a great person. Very well spoken guy. He will have a successful life no matter what he ends up doing IMO. Glad he was a Cyclone. He said he did everything he could for ISU.

Regardless of this year's win/loss, we have very high quality individuals in this program that we can all be proud of. Not so much JGJ right now, but lots of the other guys... :)

Pettway said that "Iowa State beat Iowa State today".

He definitely isn't wrong on that. But ND's brand new OC with no experience was also a LOT better than Manning too.
We certainly contributed greatly to our demise, but ND was the best defense we played all year / by far.

You're thinking too much about what is best for ISU.... I'm thinking solely about what would be best for Purdy. This offense is a mess and isn't going to get much better next year with a worse OL.

I’m a Cyclone fan. As much as I like Purdy, I’m in it for what’s best for the team. If it benefits Purdy, too, terrific.

Let's not go down this road. The Iowa team I saw last night would have beaten the ND team I saw today. Don't try to make yourself feel better right now by putting down Iowa. Not a good look.

and you would know ugly if you saw it (assuming you read your own posts)

Any idea where Joe Scates was today? I noticed he wasn't on the sideline.

Oh great... that's not a good sign.

Also... I thought we might see Jirehl Brock today. I believe he still had one more game he could play in, right?

Correct! We've had 23 wins in the last 3 years, and it will improve IMO. Learning curves SUCK, but we are making progress. Those 2,3 and 4 win seasons are long past us, so I will be cautiously optimistic going forward

We've always been in close games with CMC it seems.... except for the last two. We were destroyed in both, and just manhandled.
