Who gives a crap what the line was or if it was with or without Haliburton? This is a team that was 1-9 and has losses to Portland, South Dakota, Pacific, Hawaii and getting blasted by USC, Seton Hall, Tennessee and flipping Washington State. Their only win was against mighty Seattle. This is a game you should never, ever lose.So losing a first round NBA draft pick means reducing the point spread by only 3 points? Right.

Even against the worst team ISU has fielded in my lifetime this would be a horrific lossThat is absolutely correct. But not having your NBA lottery player available puts a big asterisk next to it in terms of how horrifically it is viewed, historically speaking.
No, it doesn’tThat is absolutely correct. But not having your NBA lottery player available puts a big asterisk next to it in terms of how horrifically it is viewed, historically speaking.
No it does not. You should not need a lottery player to beat theses guys. Talent alone at a school like ISU, who actually has basketball prowess, should get you a win. Kansas State is terrible this year without any lottery picks and lit this team up by 18.That is absolutely correct. But not having your NBA lottery player available puts a big asterisk next to it in terms of how horrifically it is viewed, historically speaking.

Who cares? Iowa is a pretty good basketball team who plays with a purpose. They will be dancing in March while we sit and watch. At least this discredits Iowa win in Hilton
So we gonna be able to put a big asterisk on next year's season too? That is absolutely correct. But not having your NBA lottery player available puts a big asterisk next to it in terms of how horrifically it is viewed, historically speaking.
Maybe next year Prohm can find some high school teams to play. Of course, there's no guarantee we would beat them either.
Yeah, I think people that did not get to the game have no idea just how bad this was. This was a horrific basketball that just beat ISU. There's really no explanation. That was two really bad basketball teams.Who gives a crap what the line was or if it was with or without Haliburton?
