That is absolutely correct. But not having your NBA lottery player available puts a big asterisk next to it in terms of how horrifically it is viewed, historically speaking.

historically, nobody is going to care because we’ve become irrelevant under this current coach

Yeah, I think people that did not get to the game have no idea just how bad this was. This was a horrific basketball that just beat ISU. There's really no explanation. That was two really bad basketball teams.

I know the body language thing gets overblown but did it seem like the ISU players were just kind of milling around at time outs and not really communicating etc? Do they seem to not listen to CSP when they come to the bench?

Because it looked like that on TV.

Also only a TV observation, but heads were down, no enthusiasm or excitement. If the result were beating an overmatched team on New Year's Eve with a blah performance, understandable. This was neither understandable or acceptable.

Nobody has ever listened, guy doesn’t command respect. Niang coached the first year.

For sure it’s as bad of a loss as you can have.

I hope.

I don't pay much attention to that. It seems like there are plenty of times players are trying to get guys in the right spots both in the press, press break inbounds plays, offensive sets. Whether it's too complicated or Prohm isn't getting through to them it is disorganized.

How long until the Hilton crowd starts booing the home team?

We have too much class for booing the home I hope. Just need to quit coming

I've got news for you guys.....there actually was a smattering of boos in the balcony section I was in tonight when the clock hit zeroes. It wasn't overwhelming or anything.....but some folks definitely let their frustration be heard.

If that’s the case it’s only a matter of time before it’s loud

No it won’t. It will be the most generic bs answers. “I didn’t get this team prepared. It’s on me. We’ll watch the film and learn from this.”

The actual article:
“I’ll own it,” Cyclones coach Steve Prohm said. “It’s on me. I’m not one to point fingers. I’m the head coach. I own it.”

I’m not supportive of booing the team because that’s not cool but the coaching staff should get booed every game.

But he didn’t own it, he went through over and over how nobody is rebounding even though they work in it everyday, how they work on this and that. It’s what he always does, passively blames players.

I think for me this year it’s about cheering for Haliburton to improve his NBA stock and make it into the league next year. I like the guy way too much to hope he comes back to this mess next year.
